I really love getting my hair blown out but ever since I had a baby, it’s hard to find time like I used to. I was enticed by a Gilt City promotion for Dry & Dash so I went for it. Booking is very simple; you can use their online appointment form. I received a response very quickly(within 30 min on a Sunday evening!) confirming my appointment. The day prior to my appointment, they sent a friendly reminder. Mia was my stylist. She came with a bag full of hair tools and products. I noticed that they use name brand styling products such as Philip B and Moroccan Oil. Mia set up quickly and got to work. After 35 – 40 min, I had what I asked for: beautiful voluminous hair. The most important thing to me is that I like my result(which I do); I also love how easy and responsive they are. The cons are that they don’t wash your hair for you(which makes sense) and, at full price, they’re a bit more expensive than brick-and-mortar blow dry services. But you’re paying for the convenience and in a pinch, it’s totally worth it. As with most similar services, they tend to be busier in the early mornings and evenings; best to book about a week or more in advance for those times. Otherwise if you’re scheduling midday during the week, they’re likely available.
