Chow Well

I have ordered from Chow Well now for the last couple weeks. I am so delighted with the convenience! I place my order online and then it’s delivered on the Sunday evening following that. They’ve had some great vegetarian and pescatarian options in the last couple weeks from very eclectic places. I’ve had Ethiopian food — cabbage stew and yellow lentils (complete with injera, the Ethiopian bread!), Turkish beans and Sri Lankan prawn curry. Each dish only needed to be heated up for about 5 – 6 min (I’ve done both microwave and stove top). So within minutes after my order arrives on a Sunday evening, I am chowing down happily.
I generally order 3 of the meals. So during the week, when I’m tired after getting home late from work, I get to experience the magic all over again.

Chow Well is awesome. It is so rare to have the combination of international cuisine and all organic ingredients. And healthy, too! A perfect way to eat well and take care of yourself while busy. I highly recommend!

Amazing tastes from around the world! As someone who loves to travel, I crave food from my adventures and those yet to come. I recommend the Moroccan spicy carrot salad. With garlic, sweet paprika, cayenne, cumin and cilantro, I enjoyed the mix of flavors. I’m looking forward to trying the other recipes yet to come.

WOW! The Puerto Rican adabo chicken is amazing!!! It only rivals that of my grandmother, and she’s the real deal. Chow Well really has an amazing service — I messaged the business to let the owners know how amazing it is, but I want all of NY and the world to know — this stuff is amazing — will be ordering some more for my friends and I this weekend!

I LOVE this service. Its delicious and super convenient. I’m always exhausted when getting home from work so this is a great new healthy option. I had the Puerto Rican Adobo Chicken with rice and beans and okra salad. It was really flavorful and I was actually pretty surprised by how big the order was. I didn’t even finish it because I was so full! I used the leftovers as a yummy snack the next day. Can’t wait for my next order!

I ordered the Afghan Mantwo dish which was delicious! I love anything with pasta or noodles so this dish was perfect for me. It’s essentially a kind of ravioli/​dumpling filled with ground meat and beans. But what made it so good was the spice mix… so different from any Italian ravioli dish I’ve eaten before. Will definitely order again!
