HORRIBLESERVICE! Avoid this place, save your liver the pain! This is really a shame, I have never seen such an enraged attitude from a culture that is mostly known for being gentle and kind. Seriously, they don’t like the business they are in, and they don’t like customers; so defensive. I just needed to get chicken broccoli without rice. The owner kept asking what sauce and scoffed when he asked what sauce and I said any as long as it wasn’t spicy. I asked if the guy in the kitchen spoke Spanish, that’s when the rude wife/other owner came into the store and interrupted saying«He no speak English and no understand English! What you want?!» After that he spoke with the first guy in mandarin and started pointing to me. She came and said«no rice?!», no rice, said. She yelled back to the guy in Mandarin again. I looked at the menu and it said 5.75 for the chicken broccoli with rice. When she gave me my money back she had charged me that exactly. When I asked how much was it, she said«What?! why?! 5.75». So I told her that since she wasn’t lowering the price I wanted the rice as well. She said«No!!! you said no rice! I can’t give you no more!». She was sooo angry, from the moment she walked in. Never coming back, scary people!

I’ve stopped going here for two reasons. 1. I’ve found the other Chinese spots on Nagle Ave. to not skimp on the meat as much and they taste less of old oil. 2. The last time I went here, my order came to $ 7. I have her what I thought was two $ 2’s and a $ 5, but when I got home I realized I gave her two $ 5’s and a $ 1. And for that $ 4 they lost a customer.

Great Chinese food!!! Had not eaten Chinese in a long time. This place was suggested to me and I am thankful for that suggestion. Tasty and affordable.

Nastiest tasting seseme chicken life. Should be called seseme batter since there was hardly any chicken in it. And the sauce tasted like the BP oil spill. $ 7.25 down the drain. Update: This place burned down, along with the whole block! Thanks guys! Good riddance to bad chinese food.

Decent food, relatively cheap and large portions. They have this menu billboard that you can totally ignore because it must be from some prior place that was here. So just look at the menu. Also, beware the ‘B’ sanitary rating. The search for the best Chinese food in the area continues…

Picked up some fried chicken because I didn’t feel like walking to Kennedy Fried Chicken on Nagle and I’m really happy I did. I got the ½ fried chicken, fries, and fried wontons. I know, I know… overkill! The fried chicken was MUCH better than Kennedy Fried because it was fried to order and not just sitting under some heat lamp. Of course, the white meat was a little dry but otherwise it was a lot of chicken and crispy, a little salty, and yummy with some juices running out of it. Probably didn’t hurt that I picked it up right away and I live close by so the chicken wasn’t steaming in the container. Oh, and they have one of those pressure cooker fryers that make the chicken more juicy. $ 3.95 for half a(smallish) chicken fried is a really good deal. The fries($ 1.50) were really bad! I remember the fries at high school were 100x better than this. It must be some very cheap brand of frozen fries, and its not even salted. It’s not squishy, or crispy… just dry. The fried wontons were SUPER crispy and juicy on the inside! The filling is some kind of meaty-pork stuff? and came with sweet/sour sauce. 10 for $ 3.50 is a great deal because the wontons are big. It all came to $ 9, the lady on the phone was a little ‘short’ but I like her, she is one hard working gal!

This is good, cheap, quick Chinese food. It is right by the A train… so it’s great for grabbing on your way from the train to home. You can easily walk in, make an order, pay about $ 5 or $ 6 and be out in about five minutes. They have everything that you would want from your basic walk-in-to-take-out Chinese place, but I’m impressed by how good it is.
