Chelsea Daylight Studio

This is not a professional studio like Milk or Fast Ahleys but rather a Live Work Space of Veronique Krieger. She constantly want to shoot behind the scenes picture even though she was told not to.
Keep away from this studio.

Veronique is kind and warm and she did try to make it a good experience for us but over all it is an extremely unprofessional space with many problems. It is certainly not recommended for video.
— It is NOT clean as the pictures depict. When we arrived for our shoot we had to rearrange Veronique’s personal items (plants, pillows, ect. I am glad that we didn’t need to shoot in the kitchen, it was very cluttered and would have been an even bigger pain to organize for our shoot. The floors were not clean and or polished. We expected to walk into a clean open white room as the website and Unilocal pages show. This was absolutely not the case.
— We were shooting video and not only did Veronique not coordinate with her assistant about our presence and shooting schedule, there were bells on the door when the assistant came in ruining the take. Additionally, there were deliveries for other clients during the shoot and no way to have them brought into the studio without us stopping production and using our crew to help Veronique move the heavy delivered items into her living space for her.
— The wireless was extraordinarily slow.
–The room is constantly about 80ºF and there is no way to control the temperature without opening the windows.
–The owner didn’t know what certain equipment she keeps in house is used for, this sort of in-​expertise is characteristic of my experience with Chelsea Daylight.
All in all our client was extremely unhappy with this shoot and it all came down to the studio. If we had chosen a different space we would have better images, a happier client, and lower stress all around. Shame on us for going with this studio.
