Blue 9 Burger

I used to get burgers here pretty frequently a few years back but this place has drastically gone downhill to the point where I dont even think about them. Once in a while when someone mentions it, I give it a try but am always disappointed. Burgers have gotten smaller and are always soggy.

If I could give them a 0 I would. So disappointed I tried this place! After working 12 hours and no lunch I wanted a nice burger and chilli cheese fries. Instead I got a fast food burger with no taste and a smashed hamburger bun. The fries tasted like cardboard and the cheese well it was like government cheese from your middle school cafeteria. Oh and the chilli was all over the bottom of the bag. Ruining the 3 napkins they sent and the hunts (not even Heinz) ketchup packets.
The worst part of this order was the fact that the can of soda exploded like a volcano when I opened it and sprayed all over my carpet and soaked my tv control.
So the next time you order stay away from this fast food restaurant. And when you walk by take a brick and throw it through their window.

I ordered from Blue 9 today via Seamless Web. I ordered at 12:21pm. At 1:46pm I called THEM to ask where my order was. They apologized and explained that they were behind schedule and that it was on its way. An almost hour and a half old burger does not sound very appetizing, but I continued to wait on the order. At 1:48, the delivery guy called my phone, I had stepped away from the bathroom. I came back and called the restaurant at 1:51 to tell them I was on my way down to pick up the order. When I get down there, there is no delivery guy. I wait around for 5 minutes. NOTHING. So I call the place again, it’s busy for another two minutes, when I finally get them on the phone, they swear that the delivery guy is at my door. HE IS NOT. I waited another 5 minutes, and tried to call again, this time, they just let the phone ring — they refused to answer my phone call!!! REFUSED! So I came back upstairs, and canceled the order via Seamless.
THIS PLACE IS SO INCONSIDERATE AND RUDE! My time is valuable and I will NEVER EVER give this place business again.
Avoid this place like the plague!!!

Delivery time was good, I ordered for specific sauces and was going to pay extra, they agreed on bringing them but when I got my order they weren’t there. Basically other than that, the food was too soggy and too dry and for me paying 50 $ for my order I should have had at least enjoyed my food. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, none of my 3 friends liked it either. Save your time and save your money.

I’ve ordered takeout from here a few times. It always takes longer than estimated on seamless. But my last order wasn’t delivered until 2 hours after I placed it. This is ridiculous. I will definitely not be ordering from here again. Burgers are ok.

I wouldn’t know how good the burgers are because I never received them. The place was completely empty when I placed my order. Other people came in and, as I was sitting there, they all received their orders while I wasted away my lunch break (I eventually left and ate elsewhere). Obviously the guy working in there is brain dead and I just sat there like a fool waiting for food that he never bothered to cook. Well, never again. I’ll go to Bareburger or even McDonald’s – at least I’ll get served.

What a horrible service these joint has.
I ordered through Seamless at 7.05pm and the estimated arrival time was 7.40pm-750pm.
I ordered a Medium Rare burger btw.
After calling the restaurant 7 times between the hours of 8.20pm-8.40pm checking in on my burger and hearing the same tune of «The guy is on his way, should be there in 5 minutes» i decided I had enough.
I called and canceled it, but they refused to acknowledge my request so I called Seamless and they told her that they would not issue a refund until their burger was back at the restaurant, untouched. Finally at 8.45pm the burger arrived, i sent that crap back. 2 hours for a Medium Rare burger, are you kidding me? I feel bad for the poor sucker that got my burger which I’m sure was reheated and re-​sold.

This place is hit or miss. First off this is going to be a greasy cheeseburger. There is nothing wrong with that, but this food is closer to fast food then an ultra meaty burger. The burgers can range from ok to very good. The fries are sub-​par and usually arrive a bit soggy when ordering take out. The tater tots are good. If you are in the mood for a greasy burger, but want something more like shake shack than mcdonalds this would be the place to try.

If I could give this place zero stars I would.
I placed a delivery order today at 11:46 (yes I am aware that it’s lunchtime but as a restaurant they should be aware that people order food at lunchtime) my food was supposed to arrive at my work, less than a mile away, in 30 – 45 minutes. I called at a hour to let them know it wasn’t with me and was told to wait 10 more minutes. I waited 15 and called back and was told 5 minutes. At this point the person on the phone said he’d check with the driver, he hung up on me and when I called back hung up on me again. I finally cancelled my order with him because I was now past my lunchtime and without food. The driver did eventually call me to tell me he was there but it was it this point almost 45 minutes late.

Can’t speak to the quality of the food, because the delivery is so consistently late that I’ve never had the pleasure of eating it …

Order never arrived. These guys are getting sloppier and sloppier. I used to order quite frequently but I won’t bother anymore.

I love the food.
But The one man who made my burger last time had the same rubber glove on one hand THE ENTIRE TIME that he A. Was on his phone with when I walked in. B. Handled money and touched the register etc.
C. Walked around outside including opening door and going in basement for supplies. And D. Making the next people’s and my burger and food with the same glove on his hand.
I have legit beef with this place –pun intended.
I only care because I really really love how the food tastes and want to like this place.
I have even been willing to accept that I cannot order from there because I know it will be an hour and food will be thrown together falling apart and soggy so I only eat in and pickup. But last time I went they had no onions or fountain soda and the guy didn’t mention that when i paid for fountain soda.
But eating in is becoming nearly unbearable and it’s not because of the food! Also it was fucking freezing last time. I can concede the travel, the roulette with ingredients but I can’t concede hygiene

While I want to like this place, ALL my orders arrive ice cold & with no condiments. What gives?!? Incredibly frustrating & they won’t be getting more of my business.

I put in in an order from seamless and it was a bit late about a half an hour. I had to call on the telephone to make sure the food was on the road. What I odered was a burger mozzarella sticks and onion rings. Save your money and just go to Wendy’s

This place was awful. Everything was bland. There weren’t people manning the counter when I came in; had to wait a few minutes before he showed up.
Seriously, go into a CVS and buy a microwavable burger and fries. Would be far better.

Late in their delivery. Not a surprise after reading everyone else’s reviews. The cheeseburger I got was overcooked and dry (i ordered medium rare). The cheese that came with my tator tots was so bad i was afraid that it was expired. And my coffee shake barely had any coffee taste to it at all. To top it off, i found something in my shake. Could not tell what it was. If youre reading this before you order please do yourself a favor and do not order from then. I definitely wont anymore.

After waiting for almost an hr they finally called me about my order. The delivery man REFUSED to come down and deliver my food. He asked me to come up on many occasions and i told him that I paid for delivery and I was working if he could just come downstairs. He hung up the phone on me several times. I called the store and the so called «manager» was also rude. He told me that the delivery guy went to deliver someone else food and that i should wait for mine. When the delivery guy came back he called me again to come upstairs and I refused. He came down with my salmon burger and tater tots its a bag that was extremely wet. THE FOOD AND THE TATER TOTS WERE WET!!! WHO WANTS TO EAT A SOGGY BURGER AND TOTS? NO ONEEEEE!!!
I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN AND I HOPE NO ONE ELSE ORDERS FROM HERE AS WELL. IT IS A TERRIBLE ESTABLISHMENT!!!

A Seamless only review, but I probably order from here once a week (maybe 2 – 3 times a month total). The burgers and fries are delivered hot (I live maybe 15 blocks away from this location). Prices can’t be beat (especially when you consider that their regular burger is two patties), and a small order of fries satisfies my cravings. Great sweet potato fries. Roommate recently ordered a «make your own salad» which was $ 7 and came in a good sized bowl with plenty of toppings/​protein. Definitely recommend!

Awful service!
Bad customer service, bad Managment and staff!
The food come 1h and half later and cold and smutchy, when you call after 1h to ask where is your food, they yell at you on the phone
Honestly you can find better place and burgers in UES
Don’t even try this place!
