Park Ave Biscuits and Bath truly deserves 5 stars. My maltipoo, Rupert, has been attending daycare daily for the past 7 months (ever since he came home to us at 2 months of age). I cannot imagine a more attentive staff; the manager, Dani, adores Rupert and seriously treats him better than most people I see treating their own pets. She has been enormously accommodating of last-​minute pickup scheduling changes, reminds us of his necessary vaccinations before the vet even remembers, gives me great advice about his health and behavior, sends me cute photos of him during the day (we’ve become friendly) and is just a pleasure to interact with. We also get little perks like free teeth cleanings, which just makes me feel good because it’s probably not something I would want to pay for but gives me such piece of mind that he’s getting better care as a result of our relationship with B&B. Moreover, Rupert gets groomed by Gia and she does an AMAZING job — and how convenient that I don’t have to take him elsewhere. He looks adorable after his cuts, isn’t itchy or nicked (like some places I used to take my bichon frise to…). When I first saw the prices that B&B (and any other daycare/​walking establishment) charges, I was hesitant but now, I cannot imagine my life without this place. Knowing that he’s in great, attentive hands all day and is happy and tired when he comes home makes it truly worth every penny. I also want to mention that I initially thought Rupert would come home dirty or sick being around other dogs all day but this is NOT the case at all (the place is super clean, there’s someone watching the dogs at all times so if one has an accident, they clean it up IMMEDIATELY and sanitize — I would know because I often watch my dog on the camera they have set up). As I said… five stars all the way.

I have been bringing my dog Ripley here for almost a year and a half. The Park Avenue staff is incredibly attentive and always lets me know how the daycare session went, and what my dog was up to. He has also been getting train & play sessions at B&B, and has come a long way (he started out pretty timid and shy with other dogs, as he was a rescue) and now his personality is shining through! I also love the videos they post to Instagram and send to me throughout the day. I am never worried about my dog when I leave him in their care!

Disgraceful and Disgusting!!! First time I put my 5 lb pooch overnight. They said they would update me by texting and calls. I NEVER received a call or text and couldn’t get through to the upper east side location where he was overnight! When I picked him up, he was smelly and depressed to the point that his tail didn’t wag and I seemed unrecognizable to my dog! If I was a suing type person, they would be bancrupt! When I got him home, he drank water uncontrollably and was famished! They should be ashamed of themselves!!!
Don’t put your dog in this establishment. You will be traumatized, just like your pooch!

We started our puppy Indiana Bones out on walks with Curt as soon as we got him, and Curt was amazing (and our puppy loved him to pieces!). Over time, though, we realized Indy had WAY too much energy to burn just on walks or even going to the dog park for an hour or so. We took him in one day for daycare with Patrycja, and we (and Indy) were hooked! After that, he was a regular at Park Avenue, dragging my husband in every morning and playing his little puppy heart out. Indy would come home totally exhausted (and, as we all know, a tired dog is a happy dog), snuggle up for the night, and then be super excited to go back again the next day. And I can’t say enough wonderful things about the staff there. They really made us feel like they were just as happy to see Indy as he was to see them :0)
We just moved out of state recently, or else Indy would still be going back to daycare almost every day. It’s not easy raising a big, energetic dog in NYC, but Biscuits & Bath made our lives so much easier, and our pup so much happier. They even gave Indy a lovely going away card full of sweet messages and memories from the staff. This place is amazing!

Got my dog groomed here once a few weeks ago. Never again. I have a Chow Chow mix and specifically asked for a groomer with Chow Chow experience. I was assured that the groomer regularly grooms 2 Chows. So far, so good.
I met with the groomer who was incredibly nice and seemed to understand exactly what I wanted. When I picked up my dog post-​grooming, I was surprised to see the sloppy, mediocre job. I instantly realized that the groomer must not have had much Chow experience, which is fine. Just be honest about it, like many other groomers were, before I settled on this place – the only place in my neighborhood claiming to have Chow experience. However, I didn’t speak with the groomer over the phone. I spoke with whoever books the appointments. So my issue is less with the groomer than with whatever communication breakdown occurred when I scheduled the appointment.
My 2 major complaints:
1. The fluffiest parts of my dog were unevenly shaved, trimmed, or who knows what. I explained these details in a post-​grooming online survey. To their credit, they offer some kind of 24 or 48 hour (I don’t remember the deadline) touch-​up policy, where you can bring your dog back to get touched up if you’re unhappy with the grooming job. That’s a very nice offer, and while I appreciate it, I realized that there would be no sense in bringing my dog back to someone who didn’t groom her correctly the first time around, nor would I be willing to drag my dog to a faraway location, should that have been an option. It would have been more aggravation on my end. So I just decided to find a new groomer.
2. Since the day of the grooming, I have received multiple phone calls and emails, soliciting my business, including long, rambling voicemails in the middle of the day, wondering what my plans are for my dog, and if I wanted my dog to play with other «doggies,» and oh, what great deals we have, etc. So annoying! I’ve never been so aggressively pursued by any business before. I had to send an email tonight to ask them to stop calling me, reminding them that I will not be returning.
Some details about this location: it is tiny and REEKED of urine. The receptionist/​cashier was very aware of this and apologized profusely, reassuring me that this was not a usual occurrence. I can’t believe that anyone pays to keep their dogs in the two micro mini rooms (one by the window, and one in the back). I realize that the location is small, but maybe it should just be for grooming, not for day care. I walked by their other Upper East Side location, which is larger and more conducive to daycare (if that’s what you’re looking for).
Moral of the story: very nice people, subpar grooming for Chows and/​or very fluffy dogs, and aggressive, off-​putting solicitations.

I missed a call at 7:03am this morning. Turns out it was Biscuits & Bath! Left a message that was about a minute and a half long. They just don’t give up. I received an email last night confirming that my account was disabled and my email removed from their system. What a relief! I figured I was in the clear. This was after I complained about the frequent solicitations earlier that evening. Despite this, someone from their client «happiness» center or whatever it’s called, decided to call me super early this morning to not only school me on their policies (basically blaming me for the solicitations, stating that I could have just changed my online settings), apologized for the «annoyance» and confirmed that I will no longer be receiving calls or emails. Oh my god. Just stop. Stop! I already got the email confirmation. No need to wake me up! Accept defeat and move on.
This is the equivalent of a breakup with someone you didn’t even know you were dating. I will now block their phone number so I never have to be bothered by them again. Instead of wasting time on someone who is increasingly turned off by your company, focus on potential customers who actually want to do business with you!

I just signed up for the buddy program which allows dog lovers to play with the puppies in the spa. It’s been an absolutely amazing experience so far, and I am glad I can do it without having the commitment and responsibility of owning a dog. The staff is also very friendly and the dogs seem to be super happy too.

When first setting out to find quality daycare for my Frenchie, Bridget, I visited a half dozen daycare providers in the city. When I found Biscuits & Bath at Park Avenue, I quickly realized that I’d found the best place for her.
The staff at the Park Ave location (and the Upper East Side location, which she also frequently visits) are exceptional. Patrycja, the Park Ave manager is a consummate professional with dogs and people, who clearly loves her work. She runs a first-​rate operation that is consistent in its excellence. Kurt and Camilo, the two talented handlers, love dogs, know dogs, and take exquisite care of Bridget and her gang of friends.
The staff at the Upper East Side are also extraordinary. James, the manager, Will, Bianca, Nicole, Shavonna — to name a few — work together to provide the best quality of care one could hope for.
Bridget has been going to Biscuits & Bath daily for approximately two years. I have seen her grow and progress in her development and her sense of well being because of her time there. They consistently provide her a rich and enjoyable day of play that leaves her calm, content and eager to return.
Also a word of praise for the veterinary care they provide. Dr. Yasmine Mortsakis has taken such good care of Bridget. I feel very fortunate that she is our Vet. She is warm, professional and highly competent.
Lastly, Customer Service staff go to great lengths to address any needs I may have. Dave, the Marketing Administrator, always provides superb service with warmth and enthusiasm, and the ever-​helpful Ileana is a delight!
I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Biscuits & Bath.

Alejandro has been staying with the gang at B&B Park Ave for almost 9 months now and he loves it. He loves everyone there, but is particularly enamoured with Patrycja. He literally drags me down the block and flings himself at their door each morning.
Little man is an ASPCA rescue and came with some issues in terms of social skills (or lack there of). The B&B team has been very patient in getting him used to the play fields, and allowing him plenty of breaks when needed. They seem very in tune with his moods and needs.
We have also used many of the additional services including bathing and grooming (they have been helping get his long townails under control), transportation (so accomodating when I need to unexpectedly stay late at work), train and plays (learning the obstable courses has been good for Ali’s injury recovery — he had been hit by a car before I adopted him) and veterinary (very convenient for vaccination updates). Having everything available in one place is incredibly convenient.
At times I have also used the Murray Hill location and been very happy with that team as well!

This review has nothing to do the facilities and/​or employees at the Park Avenue location. Patrycja is fantastic. She’s attentive, knowledgeable, and cares deeply about the animals.
My main issue with B&B revolves around their overpriced cost structure and «membership fees». You are basically paying them for the privilege of giving them your money. WHAT? The only options for «membership» is a 3-​month package ($ 130), a year package ($ 260) or lifetime (some ungodly amount). If you only need daycare for a month or two months, the client still needs to pay the 3-​month membership fee. This is on top of the $ 600 a month for monthly day-​care. Daily rates are $ 47 a day + tax. Very expensive.

I absolutely love the Park Ave Biscuits & Bath location. I bring my 6 month old puppy, Max, here as often as I can. The manager, Patrycja, is fantastic! She truly loves all of the dogs and is in the play areas with them all day long playing and running around — she is hands on and amazing with all of the dogs. Patrycja sends emails with pictures and videos of the dogs all day long. When Max was sick once, she even called me over the weekend to check up on how he was doing. The Park Ave location is B&B’s boutique location and is small enough that I feel my dog is being carefully watched over 24/​7, but big enough that he has plenty of space to play with the other dogs. I was very nervous about leaving my dog in day care all day but I highly recommend this location as I have had an amazing experience with B&B Park Ave.

I love this spot, the manager Hunter and his assistant Casey are the nicest people you will ever meet, you can tell they love the dogs they take care of. These guys have been so helpful with my home dog Dotty with her separation anxiety issues and she is truly becoming more confident in herself. Thank you!
