Ashley is phenomenal! I’ve been going to her for about two years and I have seen amazing changes in my hair. Not only has it grown but it is the healthiest it’s ever been. She taught me how to properly manage my hair and to embrace it naturally. She takes her time and really tells you about your specific hair needs. As Ashley says, hydration is key and I live by that. She doesn’t just do your hair but she nurtures and restores it. I really couldn’t imagine having a better stylist!

I have had the pleasure of being a client of Ashley’s over the last several years. She has maintained and nurtured my natural hair with a focus on retaining moisture and the overall promotion of growth.
After being fully natural for two years, I can honestly say my hair is the healthiest it has ever been, thanks to Ashley. I could not be happier with Ashley and followed her from Honey Salon in East Harlem. I have lived in the city for several years and tried numerous salons – even some of the top salons suggested in Essence and Ebony. The health and length of my hair have improved 100% since I found her. She is perfect for women who are natural or transitioning to natural hair. All my life I’ve relaxed my hair because I struggled to find a stylist who could provide a sleek, silky finish. She was one of the only stylists who could strengthen and straighten it and I saw a difference during my visit. Love that her philosophy puts just as much of an emphasis on health as style. Overall, I’m extremely pleased and feel much more knowledgable on how to maintain my hair.

Let me start off by saying that I would give Ashley 10 stars if it were possible. I had an emergency hair situation and needed a silk press for myself and my daughter (both natural)

I started going to Ashley almost one year ago. I was looking for a stylist that could help me maintain my natural hair and help get it back to its healthy and thick natural state. When I started going to Ashley, my hair was in bad shape from years of over processing from relaxers and coloring. Ashley brought my hair back to life. She formulated a plan and actually looked through my hair each week before my appointment began to see what treatment would be appropriate for me. Ashley is an amazing hairstylist, especially if you’re a naturalista and wanting to get your hair straightened without damage. My hair would be considered type 4 and it is moody. Since Ashely started doing my hair a couple of years ago it has become much more manageable, softer, more defined curl pattern and thankfully less moody. The products she uses focus on moisture and scalp health. I also love the way she cuts hair as well!

I am natural and have struggled with length retention and she really has maximized restoration of my hair and scalp. She is really professional (time management, prioritizing, building genuine relationships and maintaining a strong clientele). Her prices are reasonable in the city and her work is justified.
