Anais Haven Tango

I started taking Argentine Tango classes with Anaïs after a friend’s glowing recommendation and have not looked back since. Besides being a wonderful dancer and performer, Anaïs is a patient, kind and unbelievably entertaining teacher! She is hysterically funny and engaging even as she carefully explains each step.
She is a lovely, caring teacher who goes out of her way for her students, even taking time after class to answer questions and go over steps! She’s also the only teacher that I know of who actually accompanies her students to milongas (Tango social dances) to help them feel more comfortable.
There are many Argentine Tango classes in New York, but Anaïs’ classes are unique in the quality of instruction, the personal attention she gives and the welcoming atmosphere she creates for her students. Her classes are fun and inspiring and I am so grateful to have found her as a teacher.
