Amanda is the kind of master stylist that is impossible to find. She is the girl that you know you will always go to even if you move to London and she is in NY. She is the type of stylist that no matter what you tell her to do, or don’t tell her to do, you know that you will always look on trend and amazing and sometimes in ways that you never pictured yourself. Every haircut of hers garnishes daily compliments and I am not exaggerating Amanda knows her profession like the back of her hand and exudes confidence with the clients that are in her chair. It just makes you feel good. Go to her or risk a bad hair cut.

Do yourself a favor; get a cut by Amanda it will change the way you feel about your hair. She is incredible. I’ve had my hair long, short, curly, straight, layered, with bangs and everything in between; no mater what I want she can make it look cool, profesional and always flattering. I get compliments on my hair all the time and have even converted a few of my friends who swear will not go to anybody else now. I am very low maintenance (get out of the shower and go) and her cuts are always easy to style and fit perfectly in my low key morning routine.
I’ve been getting my hair cut by Amanda for almost a decade now (since I was 22!!!) and I wont go to anybody else. She is a Pro. Her cuts are always fun, current, stylish and can make you feel young and sexy but fit well into your profesional life. Do it, you wont regret it, I’m 32 now and I am still a fan. Can’t wait to get my next cut in time for summer :)

Amanda is amazing and has a special talent for what she does. I’ve been going to her for about 10 years now and have always been super happy. She taught me how to wear my hair curly, after denying my curls and straightening my hair my entire life. She gave me the right cut and showed me what combination of styling products to use as well as how to style it, so that I now wear my hair curly every day and love it — plus I get tons of compliments on it. She’s consistent if you you want to keep the same style but just trim/​shape it up, and she’s awesome for when you are sick of your hair and want a complete change. At least 4 or 5 times over the years, I’ve gone in and asked for something drastic and I walk out feeling like a million bucks with a trendy, flattering new do. I even brought my daughter in for her first haircut and she walked out with a super cute layered style that’s perfect for her hair that’s still filling out.
I’m already thinking about changing it all up again soon and can’t wait to see what she suggests next!

Since moving to New York 2 years ago I have struggled to find someone who can master the art of styling. I’ve always had thick, platinum blonde hair that is difficult and expensive to maintain, but the first time I met Amanda, she listened to my long list of gripes and hair horror stories without ever rushing the process. When I complained about blunt cut after blunt cut, she suggested a completely different technique that would texturize my layers and remove the bulk of the weight while maintaining the long length that I desired. When I entertained the idea of bangs, she took the time to thoroughly explain the styles that would flatter the shape of my face. And when I want change, but don’t quite know what to do, her creativity shines and she creates subtle, yet perfect masterpieces that will leave you in awe of her natural ability. Her skills are unsurpassed because she’s passionate, highly educated, and is a true artist in every sense of the word.
Trust me on this one. I have been to countless salons in this city and no one has ever come close to living up to Amanda’s standards. I have recommended her to friends, family, and co-​workers and will continue to do so because after an hour in her chair, you will leave feeling like a million bucks!

Let me first just start out by saying that I have been honored to be able to get my haircuts by Amanda a number of times. She is seriously a genius behind the chair when it comes to achieving the look you want. She is a master stylist and a perfectionist. She is constantly educating herself to strive to the top-​est of the top with developing new ideas and creating masterpieces like nobody around.
She substantially separates herself from other top professionals in the industry.
I have worked in the beauty industry for years now and I am super picky when it comes to letting someone cut my hair, but with Amanda I hadn’t a worry in the world. Not even the slightest.

I’ve followed Amanda from Toni & Guy to Arrojo over the last 10 years and can’t imagine getting a cut from anyone else. Want a change? Tell her the direction you’re thinking and she will make it look right on you. Don’t know what you want? Amanda is always on top of the latest trends. Want the same cut as last time? No need to walk her through it, she remembers. Did I mention I’m borderline OCD about my hair? Ok… I’m full blown bat sh*t and Amanda always keep me sane with a great cut and conversation. Why can’t all customer experiences be like this?
