I just moved to the area. I found this salon recommended by a friend! Mandy fit me in for a hair cut last minute. She did an amazing job and was very nice and professional! I will definitely be going back!

I’ve lived in Manhattan Beach for 25 years so I have sat in a few stylists chairs … today was my first time @ Roth Salon and I had Mandy do a highlight. I have never been happier with the results not to mention how genuine and kind she is and so easy to talk to (if you want … she’s not pushy, about anything actually ;) Prices are very reasonable too. I will definitely be going back and look forward to it. Thanks Mandy !

I scheduled a haircut with Mandy and she was amazing. Even thought it was mostly just a trim for me this time, I could tell that she would be a great go-​to for a more complex cut as well. After my shampoo and trim, she styled my hair (blow dry, quick flat iron and some loose curls at the bottom) and it looked great… all for just $ 50! My mom told me about this place because she had a great experience many years ago when she came in for a cut with Mandy’s dad.
This salon is an amazing find, with a trendy vibe at an affordable price. I’ll most likely be going back to Mandy in a few weeks for some highlights. Looks like this place is going to become my regular!

Mandy is one of the only stylists who actually listens to the needs of her clients! Came here today for my second time. She doesn’t rush you, and wants to get the job done precisely. She is honest about the looks of it and has a good eye for style and perception.
I understand sometimes might be difficult to cut men’s hair, but she nailed it. Won’t go anywhere else as long as I live in the South Bay.

Best Salon ever!!! You must go here! Mandy was amazing. She not only accommodated my friend & I super last minute but she did an amazing job on my highlights and cut and was such a reasonable price. You must try out this place if you are in the Manhattan Beach area.

I had Nick Roth cut my hair and he did amazing. I showed him some photos of what I want and he delivered perfectly. He is super friendly and really knows his stuff. Highly recommend him!

Got my hair done by the man himself, Nick Roth. He is Amazing! Has a great eye for his work and is super attentive to my needs and concerns.
I haven’t had my hair done in a while and was a bit unsure about how the color I have in mind will work for me. He saw and he delivered flawlessly. I am completely in love with my color and my cut. As conceited as it sounds, I cannot stop looking in the mirror at how great my hair looks! Haha

I love Mandy! I have been going to her for a couple years now and she always makes my hair look amazing! We’ve done everything from darkening, lightening, and highlighting to cutting, styling, adding extensions, brazilian blowouts, and everything else you could possibly think of and every time, she nails it! Her prices are very reasonable, her hours are convenient, and she is always friendly and welcoming. I would recommend Mandy to anyone in need of an awesome hair stylist.

Nick is the best. Professional, talented and warm. I trust him completely. He has an incredible eye and always makes me look my best.

I am from New York city. My husband was on work in Los Angeles and my hair just couldn’t take the beach weather haha. I was staying at The Shade Hotel and a local pointed me in the right direction. Amanda Roth … I thanked her a million times over. I literally left with the perfect Brazilian blowout. I would love to find a stylist in New York City that had the talent Amanda had. I’m not completely sure but I think Amanda had wavy hair too.

I love this place! I tried a few salons before I finally found a place that I really like! I highly recommend my stylist Mandy Roth. She is great! She really listens what I want and executes it perfectly. She cuts my hair and colors it. Since Mandy has been coloring and cutting my hair, my hair appears to be healthier and nicer than ever!

I have gotten my hair done here twice by Mandy and I LOVE IT!!! The place is nice and inviting. The staff is friendly and I have NEVER gotten as many compliments on my hair as I do now. It is out of my way to drive here but I will totally make the drive Mandy is AMAZING I love her friendly personality and skilled hands.
I will def be back!!!

Sorry Scott W. had an unfortunate experience, but that’s most likely because he did not actually get the chance to have Nick cut his hair. Nick is an artist, & as we all know artists can be quirky, but Nick is 1000% worth the wait and even more so, his work is worth every penny & more!
Nick is a hair styling genius. There’s really no other way to put it. I’ve gone to several other expensive & well-​reviewed salons that suck comparatively, and I will drive an hour+ south from where I now work & live just to get my hair done by Nick.
If you haven’t, you should definitely give this place a try. And ask for Nick!

I have been getting my hair done with Nick Roth for over a decade and cannot imagine trusting my head of hair to anyone else. Through the years we evolved from cut and dry to color, cut and style… always wonderful.

I got a certificate from here from a breast cancer benefit back in October and didn’t really know what to expect. After a month of just staring at it I decided to finally go in. Nick cut my hair and was awesome. Hands down one of the best haircuts I’ve ever gotten. I don’t keep up with my hair as i should, but the next time I need my hair done I will be returning!

Third time is not necessarily the charm. I have tried this hair salon twice; the hairstylist was friendly enough, but technically mediocre. During my second visit, she stepped away from cutting my hair more than half a dozen times, for several minutes at times. The result? Well, I went to another stylist a month later and «what the heck happened to your hair» was the first question!
Alright, so I decided to give it another chance (for convenience), asking for the man himself and hoping for the best. Arrived at an empty salon with two stylists chatting away, Nick was no where to be found. Waited for 15 minutes and I left after waiting for another 3 minutes after my appointment time. I understand we all get held up sometimes; but a courtesy phone call would have been nice, and professional.
I will not find out if Nick is skilled because I refuse to pay $ 35 (+tip) for a haircut at this poorly managed salon.
