Tried this place yesterday with my other half. You MUST try the bacon cheddar buttermilk biscuits, they are damn delicious and come with this dipping sauce that hits your taste buds just right. Parking is quite difficult here but there are public parking spots nearby on the side streets. This place has communal type seating, which is nice, you may get to socialize and make new friends! Service was great, though our waitress seemed quite busy and at times took a while to get to our table. Other food that we had: — Fee Fi Fo Fum Fries; these aren’t your normal fries, these things are GIGANTIC. Comes with a side of ketchup and some tasty dipping sauce. — Some chicken dish, I forgot the name, but I believe it was the only chicken dish on the menu. It tasted kind of like orange chicken, the slaw it rested on was pretty good. The chicken, good, but not amazing.

The place is ok if you like mediocre service. I went for a birthday and from beginning till the end the service provided was bad. So bad that even dessert arrived before the entrées made it to the table… The food I have to say is good but not something I’ll do again just because of the service. During our brunch, the server totally forget about the table, nothing was offered or done unless we requested for it, clearing the table? You’re kidding me never! While the servers, hostesses and Even the Manager were hanging out at the back of the place laughing and even hugging each other! The service got so great that we even had to pour the coffee on a plate as the coffee cup was not refreshed as we requested, so we have to do so to get fresh coffee on a «new/fresh» cup. But what about when the check arrived? The server was extremely fast and courteous… Wow! Been there done that and I will never and definitely come back

Oh my gosh! My new favorite spot for brunch/lunch!!! My friends and I came here after rock climbing so we were pretty hungry and ready to devour whatever came our way, well we did! It was a big group and even though we had reservations it wasn’t tough getting seated. We got a nice big table at the front and we had plenty of space around us. Food and drinks, what can I say other than them being so darn good!!! So we started with drinks and the famous bacon biscuits… wow! The bacon cheddar buttermilk biscuits were to die for, and not to mention the butter that came with it. We also ordered the steak with chimichurri oh myyyyy… medium rare and just perfect! I can’t wait to come back! I want to check out their dinner menu since eveything looks so delicious. So far very happy with my brunch experience!

Probably the hippest restaurant in Manhattan Beach! The Post was the historic city post office, but they’ve completely gutted it, carving out a trendy gastropub-style dining room with social community tables so you can ogle — I mean get inspired by – your neighbor’s food. You can also see a lot of the old mailboxes and reminders of the building’s history. The menu consists entirely of New American small plates and always changing depending on what’s in season. My friend and I had dinner here this past summer and shared three small plates plus a side order of their famous cheddar bacon biscuits. We ordered the skirt steak with broccolini and red chimichurri(the highlight), the Italian lamb sugo orrecchiete pasta(I enjoyed it but he didn’t because of the nearly raw egg on top as he’s not a fan of non-well-done eggs), and the Thai shrimp coconut curry(which was on the light side). The biscuits were indeed delicious and heavy but are a bit too hyped in my opinion. The menu has a nice list of cured meats and cheeses as well as lots of vegetarian plates. I was warned the wait would be crazy, but we got lucky without a reservation and were seated within 10 minutes at the end of a community table on a Tuesday night. Great, very attentive service. The Post is a bit pricey but one of the better small plates places I’ve visited in LA as the portions aren’t too tiny and they use great ingredients well. Super close to the MB Pier and Boardwalk for a nice walk afterwards or before.
