Alyce’s Art Studio is a fun and supportive environment for bringing out the artistic talent in young people. My daughter attends twice a week and she cannot wait for Tuesday and Wednesday to come around so she can go. She really loves the teachers and thinks of them like big sisters. Her art work is continually improving in quality and imagination and the studio has been the catalysis for her growth. Would give 6 stars if I could! I highly recommend Alyce’s Art Studio.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Alyce’s Art Studio! The quality of work and creativity that comes out of this studio is unreal. Each time I walk into the studio, I am blown away by not only my daughters artwork (she just turned 10), but with all the students work, no matter what their age. Unreal what Alyce can get even a 6 year old to create… always amazes me!
Alyce has created a unique curriculum. Each student works at their own pace, every student is working on a different project, and the studio to instructor ratio is fantastic… lots of individualized attention. Each project focusses on specific elements/​techniques, yet the students can be as creative as they wish. The quality of the materials they use are top notch too!
Alyce, Andy, and Annette are amazing artists and instructors and my daughter loves working with all of them. We are thrilled with the program… there isn’t a better art studio out there!

I have been blessed to life in the South Bay for over 14 years. I am a professional musician and mother of 2. I am an advocate for the arts and I love all facets of the arts… and so do my children !
When we moved from back east to Manhattan Beach, I searched and searched for an art instructor that was gifted and could teach art with passion, knowledge and great talent !!! After 3 studios and years of looking we felt sooooo lucky when Alyce opened her studio here in Manhattan Beach !!! Alyce’s Art studio is a boutique and beautiful studio !! Alyce inspires her students to learn the fine art of each element of art. Your children will love this studio ! And you will love watching your children grow as artists, with the loving guidance of Alyce and her also knowledgeable assistants.

Oh, we just love Alyce in our household. Alyce has been a great teacher/​mentor for my daughter over the past 2 years. She really took my daughter’s talent to another level. My daughter went from being an above-​average artist to a standout, winning several outside art contests.
She offers her lessons in small groups in a peaceful environment. And Kudos for being flexible at rearranging lessons when my daughter had conflicts with soccer, etc.
In addition, Alyce offers internships to her older students to give them work experience (my daughter loved this). She’s conveniently located walking distance from the high school, so that’s a bonus. (Also, located next to Dr. Hom; yes, everyone in MB seems to use him for braces).
Finally, Alyce is down to earth and approachable. My daughter met Alyce because she stepped in to her studio one day and signed herself up for lessons.

My daughter has been a student at Alyce’s Art Studio for the last four years. I tell everyone who asks about the studio, «Alyce is magical.» Alyce is a true lover of the arts, teaching and fun. All of her students feel successful and know that they can create anything. Alyce and her wonderful staff (Andi and Annette) care about each student and the studio environment is positive, nuturing and awesome. My daughter is proud of her art and herself. Alyce and Alyce’s Art Studio has given her an amazing opportunity. THANK YOU ALYCE!

I have been taking both of my kids to Alyce’s Studio for over a year now. She is a wonderful teacher to my kids and other kids in her class room. She is very talented, creative and a wonderful artist. She enjoys teaching the kids, have patience with them and encourages them to use their imagination. Her curriculum is very versatile yet fun for the kids. My daughter likes drawing and Alyce has helped her a lot in the past year and she paints beautifully. My son on the other hand didn’t like drawing but even him loves to draw now and does great paintings.
