New Dimension

Ten years ago I had the misfortune of being in a bicycle accident which left me in constant pain. I’ve seen over a dozen PTs since that accident and NONE have been as effective as Drs Lila Abbate and Mary Hughes.
Lila excels at all the key attributes you want from a PT. She has excellent assessment skills (I believe she can visualize the body in 3D, a rare gift) which gets to the root cause of your problem. She then knows exactly what to do to fix your problems (and there are usually more than one!). She’s a skilled manual therapist who sees the body as an integrated system. Her home exercises are targeted and don’t take much time. Her knowledge and skills tool kit is vast, and she willingly shares her observations so you learn more too. She fixed problems that have been plaguing me for ten years!
Mary is also very talented and gifted. Mary’s insights were also spot-​on and her myofascial release treatments contributed significantly to my healing. I have had this kind of work done before, never as effective as what Mary did for me. She is smart and very caring and I had no doubt I was in excellent hands.
With all the PTs in this practice you receive undivided attention. Here, you will at last heal. I am extremely grateful to the entire staff at New Dimensions and can’t recommend them enough.

Lila is a really great physical therapist. She is very knowledgeable and helpful.
I had a very hard pregnancy, and still cannot walk comfortably even at 10 months after pregnancy. I had seen two PT before Lila, and was seeing one for more than three months. They didn’t help me recover much.
Lila is different. She starts evaluating me carefully at each session, including muscles, spines, and pelvis. Based on the evaluation, she fixed the problems manually. Then taught me some take-​home exercise. Those take-​home exercises is tailored to my physical conditions, and updated every time when I see her. And she is always available to help, over the phone or by email. With seeing her only twice, I can feel my conditions have been significantly improving. I strongly recommend Lila to any women with pregnancy related issues.
Her office is on Long Island. It is within walking distance to the train station. Public transportation is convenient there. It is totally worth the travel.

Lila Abbate is a genius– after falling down a flight of subway stairs rushing to catch the train– I have had too many issues to count not limited to hamstring strain, chronic pelvic pain lower back and even shoulder pain. Lila gave me my life back– I can sit as long as I want– I am back to tennis and hooray– no more pelvic pain and dysfunction. She is accurate comprehensive super smart and abundantly talented.
