Manhasset Park District

Really cute park located by the Manhasset Train Station on Plandome Road. It’s really quaint and has a great play set for kids. In the summer, it even has a fun sprinkler. There are so many big old trees and the park is mostly grass.
The park has many benches and even tables for checkers and chess. There’s a great gazebo too :) In the summer, occasionally a good band will play in the gazebo for the community to enjoy in the evenings. During the winter holiday season, there’s even a lighting of a christmas tree.
This park on the main street of Manhasset really helps give Manhasset it’s great feel and character. Love this park ! And i’m so happy it’s used by the community. Kids are always playing and it’s so nice to see people taking advantage of it :)

Beautiful little park in the town of manhasset which has a beautiful gazebo which would be great for wedding, graduation, special events photos. It also has a nice little playground with an awesome sprinkler system to run through. Surrounding the park are tables that have the checkers/​chess tops on them so if you want to play chess like they do in NYC this is a good spot.
In addition it is a dog friendly park and there is actual bike parking.

Little nothing of a park on Plandome Rd a short walk from the Manhasset train station. It has a large gazebo and a play ground. Ok for a picnic but that’s it.

This is a nice little park. The gazebo in the middle is the main feature. In the summer they sometimes have bands play here.
The children’s park is fairly new as well. On hot days there are special sprinklers the kids can turn on and run through.
Sometimes they lock the gates at night so if your taking a romantic stroll at night and want to relax on the swings you might meet a locked gate.
Very clean, and well kept. It is across from town hall and the building district so the town keeps a good eye on it.
