Some people resemble their pets… I happen to resemble my clock, Cuckoo. I recently inherited my grandmothers cuckoo clock which my mom happened to bring back from a European trip back in the 60’s. Well, clocks are like lazy people… they don’t like to get back to work. I found this repair shop using«Google to the rescue». Glad I found it. Dropped the clock off on a Friday and picked it up the following Sat. Nice! Price, well I thought $ 60 was a very fair price. Even though I’m quite mechanical, the thought of taking it apart freaked me out. After a thorough cleaning, some new hands and a bushing, she’s back up and running. I’ve been listening to it chirp the half and full hours and with a little practice, I may be able to mimic the bird. Please help keep people like this in business. Even though the majority of clocks are digital-electric jobs, the old mechanical clocks with the Tic-Toc just have that certain pizzazz. With these types of clocks, a repair-cleaning shop is a must. This is the place to go when needed. Cuckoo-Cuckoo…See, I’m almost there.
