I had a very good experience here.
Unlike the post office, there was no line.
Unlike the post office, the clerk was happy and looked me in the eye and talked to me.
I needed to ship a rather large bundle – a 10 piece comforter/​bed sheet set and was just dreading it, finding a box big enough, taping it, getting the shipping label on there correctly… ugh. However the UPS Store clerk just took it for me, gave me my receipt and proof of shipment and sent me on my way – they did ALL the work. That showed in the price tag too though, I definitely could have saved about half if I had done it myself but I wouldn’t have the peace of mind… and I probably would have procrastinated for several more weeks.
I highly recommend the UPS store for large or unusual shipments – they’ll make it easy. Oh and apparently all the employees are notaries and they have a document shredding service through Iron Mountain. That may be useful to me in the future.
