The address isn’t 575 anymore — its actually 373 near the animal hospital near the old Shaws. The sign out front doesn’t say«ReCell» its actually«Freedom Cellular» — but the number listed on this Unilocal page is the right one. Anyway — they replaced a broken screen on my kids iPhone 5s — took them a pinch longer than expected because the first one they put on was bad. Great price overall and still done in a bit over an hour. Pretty friendly — free popcorn — good tunes. I’ll def go back next time we break a phone.

I found this place on South Willow Street last summer. My Verizon contract was ending and I was REALSICK of forking over $ 100 – 120 a month to them. I wanted a no contact deal. I went in and a very low keyed, highly intelligent guy named Dan helped me out. They are a dealer for several no contract cellular carriers. As I travel to northern New Hampshire regularly(near the Canadian border!), I had to go with a company that had signal there. For example, Sprint doesn’t work up there. Dan suggested Page Plus, with their«55» plan. You get unlimited talk, text, and several gigs of internet for $ 55 a month, and NO contract. Best of all, I was able to KEEPMYOLDNUMBER, and… they use the Verizon signal! They also sell used phones. I could have converted my old LG Verizon semi-smart phone, but wanted to upgrade. Dan sold me a used iphone 4 for $ 400. Kind of a steep price, but I figured they can fix them, and I would be sure they got it working right and would back it up. All the phones they sell seemed a little high priced, but they are in a high rent area, and do have to make money. Not all phone can be converted to the plan, so yours may or may not work. If it works, you can use your old phone. Dan had me going in no time with my new iphone. After a year, I’m totally happy with Page Plus. The service works all over the state, except a remote 5 mile stretch of highway in the White Mountain National Forest, where nothing works. I use the internet part of the service a lot, and I’ve never gone over the limitations and had an extra fee. It’s always $ 55 a month. Yesterday, my phone went dead and wouldn’t take a charge. I was up north in Berlin. There’s a fix-it guy there who specializes in Apple products. I went to his shop — nobody there. Call his number — got voice mail. Sent an email to him — no response(still none a day and a half later!). So I drive to Manchester to ReCell. I get there and am greeted by a Brendan. He is very polite, and tells me he can look at my phone within 10 or 15 minutes when he is done with another customer. I leave and do some shopping nearby. When I return, he tells me he is convinced it needs a new charging module or a battery, both of which they have in stock. He tells me my cost for either one is $ 50. I’m happy happy! He’s still juggling more customers and I’m wondering how he does all this at once. I go next door in the strip mall to a new Mexican place to have some food and kill 20 – 30 minutes while he fixes my phone. I get back — the phone is all set. More good news — even though they replaced the battery, I didn’t lose my contacts! Brendan rocks! So…my only phone, my audio link to the world, was DEAD. ReCell Mobile had me back on line with a new battery, for only $ 50, WITHINANHOUR! Their phone number is: 603−259−4444
