Reliable, professional, clean and pleasant. Ive had to use local cabs while my car was being serviced. I was pleasantly surprised with the service. I highly recommend this company.

I reserved a few days in advance. It was very handy! The cab driver showed up on time. We were a couple minutes late and he didn’t even charge us for his time. Then he dropped us off, very polite. The driver that picked us up was very nice and tolerant of our status! Dropped us off and thanked us, just as I would have expected. I was very pleased with this company and I plan to use them again! Simply being able to make a reservation is a good enough reason! Thank you so much!

I used this company several times between mid-​2013 and late 2014. They didn’t show up too late, they weren’t too rude, the cabs weren’t in too bad a condition… but still, this company leaves much to be desired. If you have a smart phone and a credit card, there is at least one better alternative for you these days.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I was picked up early Monday morning and told right away by the driver that he had no change. So needing the ride, i really had no choice and got in. Got a 3 mile ride I paid $ 20! I called the next day to question this shady practice and was told by this rude female dispatcher I should of had change. When I responded to her, that was not the customers problem. she literally said ya, ya, ya whatever and hung up on me! What kind of business is this? Unprofessional rif raf low class running this taxi business, watch out,!

These cabs always smell funny. The drivers are generally pleasant and they know where they’re going, but they don’t have credit card readers in the cabs. You have to call dispatch yourself and read the card number, expiration date and CVV aloud over the phone. It’s also a $ 10 minimum charge so you’ll pay $ 10 for a $ 6.20 cab ride. It’s 2015, Manchester Taxi, get card readers in your cars.
I discovered Über after the taxi dropped me off at home. If Manchester Taxi and the rest of the city officials want to keep these companies in business, they’re going to have to step it up to compete with Über. Much better experience.

I thought they were supposed to have a meter on rather than just guess or make up a price. He commented «I have to see how far it is so I know what to charge you. Isn’t that what meters are for?

There service doesn’t even deserve a 1 star! The dispatcher’s work ethic is terrible! I can’t believe how rude she is… The dispatcher hung up on my wife 2 times and my wife is a very polite and easy going person so she definitely did not deserve to be hung up on. There cabs smell like smoke and are in disrepair and they are aways late. They purposely picked my wife up late and actually talked about it over the radio while she was in the car. Absolutely terrible customer service. I don’t know what happened but this company is going downhill fast. I will not be using them again nor will my wife.

Needed a taxi on a Sunday. Called and the cab was there in less than 15 minutes. The dispatcher called me back to let us know when our cab had arrived.
Our driver, Gary, was excellent and worked with us when we had to stop @ an ATM for cash (their card processing machine had just gone down) and again @ our destination, making sure we would not be stranded before he left us there.
If I need a cab again it will be Manchester Taxi that I will call.

Usually they’re very timely, but I would call in advance, not 10 minutes before you need to leave, because occasionally when they’re late, they’re pretty damn late. My partner takes the taxi every Sunday morning to work with no issue and they charge him a decent price. However, one time when we went to the grocery store and it started pouring, they quoted us 10 minutes– and 20 minutes later, we called again, they said they just sent the driver out and it would be an additional 15 minutes. They didn’t even meet that deadline either. So after a few calls and 45 minutes of us waiting, the driver finally rolled up, and gave no explanation or apology, and seemed to be in a hostile/​bad mood.
I am hesitant to call again after that, but considering they are one of the cheapest taxis around, my partner still uses them. If I find a company better I would personally switch in a heartbeat.

Had to catch a flight at 1:30, asked for a pickup at 12pm, 12:30pm, still no driver. No one called to say he was delayed. When I called to find out what was going on, they said he was another 20 min away. I said I need to make by 1:30 flight, they said they will try their best, but I should have planned better. Unbelievable.

Used to reccommend, as I work on Elm Street… never again! Hour and a half wait for a taxi? dispatch who lies on the phone, makes fun of you and is super rude when you’re nothing but polite and curtious about where you are and where you need to go? I wouldn’t let anyone talk to me the way these people talked to me and snarled at me and hung up on me. Guys, I’m a pregnant woman just trying to get home from work. Sorry if you had a bad day, maybe stay out of work where you have to interact with people when you’re going to dump all over them for calling you. I’ll be sending all my business to a different company, see ya.
