Full disclosure, I have never ordered a cake or any other bakery item, other than donuts. I am sure the bakery does great cake/​cupcake/​etc work. I know they have changed their focus to special order bakery.
Having said that, I am disappointed they have basically stopped being a coffee/​donut shop. We need someone else in town to pick up that business.
This is not an indictment on the bakery, just disappointment at the loss of a coffee/​donut shop.

Had an appt for wedding cake tasting, and owner wasn’t there, didn’t call to say she wasn’t going to be there and didn’t tell employees we were coming. We waited 20 minutes for someone to start the tasting, and after a lot of recommendations and hype, the cake wasn’t good. Very disappointed. Especially forgetting about our appt, when said they see we were on the calendar. I’m sure my experience might just be an unfortunate coincidence, but bad first impression.
