LL Bean Outlet

I love this store. Sure, the selection varies from week to week (even possibly from day to day when it’s super busy during the holiday selling season) because the store sells overstocked, returned, and slightly imperfect merchandise making this more of a treasure hunt experience. There are some lower quality goods than regular LL Bean stores will not sell but I can easily look past these items to the real deal.
The prices that I have paid for items I have bought have been nothing but amazing:
— A rolling duffle bag with high quality ripstop and waterproof fabric: $ 124; originally $ 279
— LL Bean zip off pants: $ 15; originally $ 65.
— LL Bean t-​shirt: $ 5; originally $ 20.

This store is great! I got a blazer made out of incredibly soft, fine Italian cashmere for only $ 14.25; it retailed for nearly $ 200! Also, a «Coveside» sweater for $ 39 (retailed for $ 74), and a pair of insulated 8″ Bean boots, lined with Goretex, for only $ 169 (retailed for $ 189)! All in all, I made out like a bandit, with ~$ 463 worth of merchandise for only ~$ 222, that’s incredible. Haha.
The staff was very friendly, and greeted me when I came in. I do wish that the merchandise weren’t so crammed together, but I could tell that the employees of this store did the best that they could. After all, it is an outlet, so an abundance of merchandise is expected. Other than that, everything was very organized, neat, and clean.
Yes, it is true that there are quite a few of merchandise with other people’s names embroidered on them (mostly bags and robes), but if your name is common enough (John, Michael, Sarah, etc.), that shouldn’t be an issue. Also, if it’s something that I’m just going to wear at home anyway, like a bathrobe, I don’t really care that it has somebody else’s initial on it. There are also a lot of bags that don’t have names on them, so you do have options.
Overall, it really isn’t a bad store. There are clothes and shoes for the entire family, athletic equipments, and home goods. I’ll definitely come back.

Great staff very helpful and there’s always something great on sale. I try to get there monthly cause you never know what great stuff they’ll have that day.

The young man that helped me out was so nice. He went out of his way to make sure I had a great ll bean experience. I believe his name was Grant. ¹⁰⁄₁₀ would fux with again big guy.

Not the best organized store I’ve ever been in, but that’s not why you go. The shirts are all together (generally), the pants are all together, the shoes, etc… but you DO need to search and sift to find what you might be looking for. That doesn’t matter as the pricing is great! I’ve yet to find an item that had any «defects» that would cause it to be discounted. My guess is that it’s primarily returns for misorders. So the deals on basically brand new stuff are amazing.

Good selection for an outlet store. A lot of stuff consists of items that have been returned and overstock items. Then there are some things that just did not sell… and for good reason. I think the best deals here are to be had in the luggage and bags department. They have a great selection of totes and duffles. I was less impressed with the clothes, although the jacket selection is not bad. This store is not big, but is worth a stop. Also, look for additional discounts. The «regular» price of the outlet merchandise is not that impressive. The deals only seem to get good here with additional discounts.

This is an Outlet store — stuff that’s been discontinued or can’t sell in the flagship store and for that, this is perfect. This is not meant to be a miniature of their big stores in Freeport.

I stopped in yesterday to purchase a couple gift card’s. I also got myself a pair of shoe cleats but because of «sizing issues», it wouldn’t be a store I would go to to buy myself clothes.

This new LL Bean Outlet is awesome! After reading the other reviews, I had to gt my fanny up there on my day off to check and see if I could score some of those fantastic «wrinkle free» dress shirts.
I did score the shirts, plus more. Great place to browse and dig.
The housewares section/​bedding area has some very nice items for cheap, cheap.
This will be a store that I frequent most times I am up in Manchester.

Man oh Man, this place totally rocks. I wish there were one near my house, then everyone would be getting Christmas presents from here.
I just bought a nice warm weatherproof parka from here yesterday for $ 40!!! Yay I can go skiing and not get soaking wet!!! All outerwear was extra 50% off of the already-​low outlet prices. The canvas totes were also super cheap at 50% off of $ 14.95 or so on average. Other items were cheaper than the store/​catalog but it was definitely the coat prices that put the outlet at five stars.
