Not the worst, had better. General Tso’s is a little too slimy there, lately im into a real crispy Tso’s which I think hold the sauce better. The white rice was good, seemed like it was made fresh and the hot and sour soup had a good balance, lots of good stuff in there. I have had better experience with the non-breaded options, chicken/beef and broccolli, fried rice was not overly oily. All and all I gave it a 3⁄5 and I would go there again, especially if I were in a rush, as its a small place with a couple chairs. –No AMEX

So I decided to get take out from Lin’s based on their Unilocal reviews and I’m glad I did! By the time I got home the food was still piping hot and delicious! One stand out dish was the vegetable lo mein, not nearly as grease filled as other Chinese restaurants. Happy to have found Lin’s!

Easy ordering on the phone, appreciated being offered the total due without having to ask. Delivery was prompt and pleasant. Food was good, lo mein was great. Will order from here again.

I’ve continuously had good experiences at Lins’ Garden. The food tastes great, and the price point is exceptional. I think some of the other reviews complaining that it’s take out rather than dine-in, or that it’s not of high«quality» miss the point: Lin’s Garden is a great place to go and get tasty, good food at a good price. And for that reason, I will consistently recommend them if my objective is to get just that. If I want something of higher caliber and higher price, I’ll go somewhere else. Of the three Chinese restaurants on Main Street in Manchester, I find this one to be the best.

Its a takeout restaurant rather than dine in. I dont feel they provide quality food. I am a vegetarian and the vegetables they put is not fresh. On top of it, I got bitter mushrooms(it could be some other vegetable) in the food couple of times and have to throw the food out. Not going here anymore. I should say this is the state of the chinese restaurants around Manchester. They all have same menu and price. The only difference in the menu is the restaurant name. They all taste the same too.

In town today on business and stopped for a quick lunch. Tiny place seems to be for mostly take-out. Just 3 small tables, and one had about 15 lbs of peapods dumped on it to be cleaned by the staff. I ordered a steamed shrimp and broccoli with brown rice. It was a decent sized dish(cost around $ 10, so I would be ticked if it was anything less than good sized). The broccoli was fresh and nicely steamed– with some crunch and zero limp sogginess. I was also very happy with the size and quantity of the shrimps. Nothing wrong with the rice either, a generous scoop of well cooked rice with a bowl of tasty sauce I could add on my own. So the food rated very high. The décor was kind of a nothing, but considering this is a take-out place not exactly designed for a luxurious dining experience, I can’t complain about that. Maybe if the décor was a teense nicer, and there was none of the prep work going on at a dining room table, I’d give them 4 stars. The food merits that for sure.

This is the real thing. Great takeout, veggies were cooked yet crisp and kung pow shrimp was some of the best I have ever had. I moved from LA a year ago where great Asian food is not uncommon and this ranks with the best! 5 stars, easy…
