Well, this is one heck of a JCPenney, they sell shirts, pants, undies, socks, sweaters, turtlenecks, cardigans, corduroy pants, tank tops. I just bought a polo and it was dead on a Tuesday night when I went in and the help wasn’t particularly helpful and couldn’t show me where they place the polos or answer if there was a clearance rack. I found ONE polo section and within that section I found one shirt I would purchase. When I found another employee I asked if there were any more of that specific style and they just said«probably not», smiled, and walked away. I lie crying in the middle of JCPenney unsure of what to do next. I ended up buying the one that I liked albeit two sizes too small, I figure it’ll grow with me over time right? RIGHT? Anyway I digress, the prices are quite polarized, the one shirt I did find was $ 7.99, «fantastic!» I exclaimed out loud, only to see other similar polos marked as $ 20, and $ 30 respectively and of much lesser quality, so for that I was a bit confused. As I decided it was time to leave, I found an open checkout counter that you can never really tell if it is a checkout counter because they all say customer service and it always seems as though someone is always asking for a price check or returning something so no matter how busy it is, you always know you’re going to spend the same amount of time waiting to check out, almost a literal eternity. I know you know what I mean reader! ;)

After Christmas shopping, aware it’s going to be busy and the lack of check out clerks is annoying. Left no sale for them!

I love JCPenny. I’m a frequent shopper there. Love the selection, love the prices. This place is dangerous for me though! I could easily pop in every day.
