Granite State Escape

We had an awesome time here with our high school senior niece. We did two different rooms and both were very well designed and full of clever puzzles that were just hard enough to make you feel super smart when you solved them and not too hard to be frustrating. The staff was super accommodating and the overall experience was awesome! We will be back!

Great team bonding activity. 16 of us participated in all three rooms. Players came out all excited. 1 team escaped 1 almost and 1 team not even close but all of them had fun. Would recommend to any athletic team looking for something to do off the court or field.

Awesome place to have here in Manchester for a unique afternoon or night out. The challenges were exciting and kept our group on our toes! The only thing I would recommend to improve the experience is to have more excitement at the finish. Once my team escaped the room we walked out into an empty hallway with no one there to congratulate us. There was no run though of the puzzles or anything after either. It was a bit anticlimactic. Overall very fun though.

This is a very unique, fun experience! The puzzles definitely require thinking, but they are not impossible. I do find it to be overpriced, though. $ 23 for an hour’s worth of entertainment is a little steep, and that’s if it even takes you an hour. If my whole family went it would cost us $ 92, and again, that’s just for an hour. You could go to a movie for $ 10 for two hours worth of entertainment. I would definitely go again if there were some kind of coupon, but not sure if I would go again at this price.

We did funeral parlor yesterday. Went to lunch at Szechuan House next door first, awesome chinese food and drinks (been coming there for years). We had 9 people (all family) and 2 had already done one of these. It was wicked fun! We tore apart the room! We ended getting out in 50 minutes without asking for help. The owner/​guide was very nice and friendly. We are definitely doing the jail cell, only difference is probably 2 teams (only 6 per room for that one).

This is a wonderful example of a local business I really want to support. Escape the room games aren’t new, but these are done well. Pamela, the owner and guide was very pleasant and ensured we all had a great time. I will definitely be back.

My family decided to do the funeral parlor escape room over the Christmas break. There were 10 of us, and it was a ton of fun — a very different experience that all ages can enjoy. A snowstorm interrupted some of our flights, and we weren’t able to go at our scheduled time. Granite State Escape helped us to work around the delayed flights and set up a new time slot for us — they were soooo helpful and we very much appreciated it!
I’d recommend this as a family-​fun event. I’m sure we’ll be back!

Granite State Escape is the perfect out of the box activity in Manchester. A great new place to go with family or friends for an engaging, challenging outing that brings everyone closer together in the pursuit of your escape from their puzzle rooms. Seriously next time you’re not sure what to do and are tired of the same old stops check this place out, you won’t be disappointed!

A unique and wicked good time! This is a great way to spend an evening with friends or family, solving puzzles to find your way to escape the room. Each room has a theme but the goal is the same: escape the room within the 60 minute time limit. There are numerous clues and tricks along the way that eventually all lead to a combination that opens the door. If you get stuck, hints are available just by asking. Trust me, you’ll be talking about this for days to come.
Bragging rights go to those who finish in the fastest time and for those can escape without any clues at all. Fundraising groups get a percentage of the take. Not really for younger kids. The owners suggest a minimum age of 15, high school level and up. But this really is a lot of fun and there’s nothing else like it outside of Boston at this time.

What a great way to spend time with friends. Problem solving and challenges you wouldn’t expect you could achieve. So many twist and turns.
