Got the fried clam plate for over 20.00 with an up charge of 2.00. I could barely eat it and the little I did eat, I puked up when I got home. It was either to tough or not cooked at all.(Which us strange considering im sure it all went in the same fry basket). I wasn’t going to write a bad review because maybe it was just bad seafood, but my daughter just woke up out of a dead sleep and threw up the hotdog and fries she had. I think this place is open for nostalgic reasons, not quality. Goldenrod is the place to get fried clams in the city and it’s worth the cash. The best part about this meal was puking it up.

Very good food, hit, fresh and tasty. And over priced. I paid $ 10 and got a small paper basket of fries and fish. Son’s burger was thin. Price for portions is too high. No free drink refills, and you can use a card only if you bill is over $ 10. Might go back for fried dough and ice cream, but not food.

Great ice cream! Some of my favorite flavors are the lemon blueberry, strawberry mango, orange pineapple, and whoppie pie. The watermelon sherbet is phenomenal! The parking can be tricky when busy. Not the nicest area in the city but I’ve never had any issues there. They accept credit cards on orders $ 10 or more.

No one doesn’t love a hot dog, cheeseburger or an ice cream cone and I’m no exception. HOWEVER, I was burned by the price-point. I purchased a small soft-serve vanilla cone with sprinkles. $ 4.09! Come on! I know what you’re thinking– this guy is upset over four bucks. Well, yes. That’s an absurd price-point considering most folks and can a soft-serve cone for 99 cents at any fast food joint. Come on Creamland!

The Wife and I went about a week or two ago. We both had the seafood platter. My wife didn’t want fries .So she asked for extra coleslaw in substitute for fries. So needless to say we arrived home .I opened the meals. We both got fries and 1 coleslaw. So the wife calls and tells them. There reply was a gift certificate for $ 10.00.The meal was small and over cooked. Over all it was a bad experience. So if you decide to eat there check your food or eat there I guess.

I could go on and on about this place! The burgers are amazing! The French fries are my absolute favorite of all the fries in the world and they are to die for! Oh and the ice cream? My go to place to get ice cream with my friends. It’s such a perfect place! The only downside would be that it’s closed every winter. A whole winter without their fries? Torture.

One of the best parts about summer in New England is when all the little seafood shacks and ice cream parlors open up. When you’re in Manchester, this means Cremeland. This restaurant is a family-owned, 3rd generation operation, and you can taste the love and attention between every bun, on every plate, and in every cone. The first thing that you notice is how fresh the seafood is. It is definitely fried to order, never frozen, and I’m sure they are on a first name basis with their purveyor. The seafood plate, although a tad expensive, is enough to feed 2. You get several U25 scallops that are moist, sweet, and buttery. A nice haddock filet also comes with the plate and it is fresh and flaky. In addition, you get about a pound of clams that are both bursting with freshness and taste like the ocean. And finally, you get a couple jumbo, and I do mean jumbo, shrimps. Well worth the splurge. The hotdogs there are mediocre as well as the cole slaw. But honestly, that is not really why you go to Cremelands. They also have a good selection of ice cream — scoop, soft serve, and sorbet. The one thing I have to say about the ice cream is that they are generous with the mix-ins. I recall finding a whole oreo in the oreo flavor and the pistachio ice cream is littered with real pistachios. The seating for the restaurant is all outside, so pick a nice day to go. They call your name out once your order is up, and nothing makes a day like enjoying a steaming pile of fried seafood on a sunny day. I don’t care what Jack says, this is a great family restaurant and I never feel in danger. If you don’t enjoy the atmosphere and food here, get back on your high horse and get out of Manchester.

I had driven by this place a thousand times before I decided to stop and give it a try. The only reason I never wanted to stop was it’s location, but this place was definitely there before the ghetto moved in around it. I’m very glad I stopped! Their ice cream portions are generous, inexpensive and delicious… maybe the best chocolate chip ice cream I’ve had, with BIG chunks of chocolate and a really nice, rich vanilla base. Their food menu is typical of an original drive-in place — burgers, hot dogs, fried seafood, etc. and the prices are insanely low. I have yet to try the food, but if it’s as good as the ice cream, I’m sure I’ll become a regular visitor!

Came for the ice cream, and Cremeland did not disappoint. Generous portions for the price, and the brownie sunday was excellent. Cremeland also has of the best onion rings I’ve had, the batter is great so I imagine the fried seafood is as well. I plan to come back for the clams sometime. I agree with the other posters though that this isn’t in the best part of town. It’s crowded on a warm summer evening with plenty of families around, and I definitely felt safe, but they could make the place so much nicer with a good powerwashing and some plants or décor. It wouldn’t take much to clean it up and make it a better destination in the city. Cash only, plenty of parking. Good weather brought long lines, but service was pleasant and quick after placing an order.

I went the other day to get a lobster roll, because I love lobster. As far as the roll goes it was A-Ok like my rating suggests. The lobster salad was sitting on top of some shaved fluffed up lettuce to make it look bigger than it really was. All that really did was make the lobster salad sort of float above the roll it was on, weird. The lobster salad its self was pretty good, just enough mayo and nice big chunks of lobster. If the roll it was on was slapped on the flattop for a minute on each side I think I might have given it another star. As far as the place goes, there was never any point during my visit that I felt scared for my life or even remotely threatened. I think some of these other reviewers either live severely sheltered lives, or maybe they just look like they need harassing. This place is not on Elm street, but its not in Compton either.

My single favorite place in Manchester. And I have several favs(The Back Room; Souvlakis; Athens; Steves; etc etc). Get the clam roll or the clam box. When in season you can taste the brine. Oh and the ice cream is good too, soft serve and hard.

I like the sign out front. I like the ice cream just fine(soft serve twist). I don’t like the neighborhood. I felt like I was going to get shot sitting there. I like how there’s a Cumberland Farms AND a 7-Eleven across the street. That’s so you have TWO choices as to which one to rob on a Saturday night.

The icre cream and food are good. I just cant stand how dirty the palce is from the outside. The owners make a ton of money you think they could add some plants, clean up the place a bit. I mean the whole area could be powerwashed. They have the ability to make that area of Manchester nice, and they dont. Very disappointed how they care for the city — all of the folks who treat them well.

Typical drive-in with covered outdoor seating & wet wipes. Cremeland serves fried seafood(clams, haddock, scallops, shrimp), steak, lobster rolls, burgers, chicken burgers, fish burgers, hot dogs, chili, fries, cole slaw, ice cream cones, shakes, frappes, floats, sundaes, and ice cream bars. There are two ordering areas(with windows): hot food on the left and ice cream treats on the right. You order and pay for your food & drinks(cash only) at the window and your number is called when your order is ready. Last visit, I had the fish & chips($ 7.80), which was a modest portion. The fried fish pieces tasted very good because they only use fresh haddock. The fries were crinkle cut fried just right(with no salt). The tartar sauce was very tangy.
