My son and I went here after work last Tuesday for a drink and sat in the bar area. My son ordered a Blue Hawaiian and I ordered a Mai Tai, two classic drinks served at Chinese establishments. My sons drink had a paper napkin INSIDE his drink!!! WTF! How do you not notice that when making a drink! I thought it was a flower at first. GROSS, GROSSGROSS! My drink was brown in color and had crushed ice! It was absolutely disgusting! I will never go back! Keep in mind this was on a Tuesday around 5:30, the place has like 4 customers in it so they can’t say it was busy!

Hot and Sour soup tour 2016… It was served with a smile. The ingredients were plentiful, and delicious. Soup had the right heat. The broth was a little different than I am used to. The beef flavor was spot on with nice pieces of beef in it. The only downside was the tofu was very soft. Also, it was a little more expensive than most. Overall, I give it an 8.5

Love this place food is great ! Loveeee the wonton soup ! Its full of flavor & vegetables & meat. Portions are huge, we always have left overs !! And at the end of the meal you not only get the fortune cookie but you get pineapple chunks which are awesome ! Always make this a stop on our trips to NH, although the place needs updating the food is wonderful

One of the better Chinese food restaurants in manchester in my opinion. Came here with a group of 4. Ordered pu pu platter, general tso’s chicken and rice. Drinks were awesome. Definitely aren’t watered down. Food was great. Did not have one complaint with anything.

Appetizers are ok. All the main dishes taste canned and watery with the same salty horrid brown mystery sauce.

Really fabulous. Had an amazing lunch. Seated immediately and served a complimentary piping hot, creamy and crispy crab Rangoon. The lunch combo was perfect and a generous portion. The egg roll was tasty, crispy and nice and hot, as were the pork fried rice and chow mean. Duck sauce was fresh, sweet and tasted homemade. Service was excellent. So impressed. Will be back.

Very good food and good service. Our company ad to work late one night and we called in for dinner. Food was tasty and reasonably priced.

Don’t go here if you have kids with allergies. We tried to explain that our son has severe allergies to dairy and has an epi-pen. She said she didn’t care.

What happened to the food here? It used to be so good! I would go out of my way just for the crab rangoons. Their typical rangoons you would get in a mall or cheesy buffet! What a waste of time going across town too get their food.

We have been coming here for years and the owner Billy is very nice. We also feel like it has gone down hill over the last 10 years. We called in for a poo poo platter and the food was very good — the next day we were both sick to our stomachs. all day… we both felt the same… hope it wasn’t the food

This review is based on my two experiences here, one yesterday around 3. the second last week @ 1030pm. first let me say I was extremely happy w my servers on both occasions. I would give them 5 stars. the meals came relatively quick both late night and during lunch. the portions are huge. we got the combination plate our first trip. during dinner hrs you get tea and complimentary crab ragoons, tho others have said wings so it must vary. either way a great way to start a meal. I wouldnt order an app unless you eat competitively. At dinner the combos are 12.50 which sounds pricey until u see your plate. I believe I got 8 chicken fingers, two teriyaki, an egg roll and a mountain of could of fed both of us easily. everything was prepared great. the only reason they didn’t get five stars was because there is better out there. but seriously no complaints. when we went back for lunch we got the«smaller» lunch special 9 which is just under ten bucks. I think the only difference was it was on a different plate. still a ridiculous amount of food. one of my fav things about the aloha is the drink menu. most drinks are about half price to most Chinese fav is the zombie(limit 2 according to menu).lots of the good stuff for a shocking 5.95! I played 13 at a competitor on second st 3 wks ago and the aloha has much, much better. one tip, go after ten and dine in the restaurant, since everyone is at the bar we were the only ppl there so it made for a great date nite.

Best Chinese food in the area, hands down the best pu pu platter. I can’t say enough good things about the owner and the wait staff, they always make the dining experience enjoyable. It’s nice to see an owner who cares so much about the customer.

I used to love this place but I think they have gone down hill. Tonight we ordered take out and me and my husband both got food poisoning. We’ve been up all night, I’m just thankful that for some reason my 19 month old wouldn’t eat it… I’ll be calling them today to inform them ! Update: I think we had the flu and may not have been the food!

I love this place — the owner is incredibly friendly. My husband has been going here since he was a kid and now we take our daughter. The food is delicious — their chicken fingers and pork spare ribs are fantastic! Exceptional customer service. We always feel so welcome when go there.

In the past we’ve loved the food, but lately the quality seems to be slipping. And the nasty attitudes of the staff seem to be coming out more and more frequently.

This is one of those don’t judge a book by its cover. Ok maybe you can. This is really good regular old 1970s chinese food. Best chicken fingers and crab rangoon I’ve had!

This is your average Chinese place. The drinks are very good and cheap. I usually get the wings/tenders and chili paste. As far as the entrees go. It’s the basic American interpretation of the meal. Nothing special throughout. Average. Come here before the bar if you want a good pregame drink.

Great service! I’m used to Chinese places just shoving the food at you and getting their money, but the people here are definitely friendly and welcoming. I ordered the cashew chicken, beef teriyaki, and side of rice. It was about $ 30, but worth the price! There’s enough food there for 3 – 4 meals for me! The chicken was fresh and delicious, and the vegetables were good. The beef teriyaki could have had a little more flavor, but it was tender and easy to eat off the skewer. I wasn’t expecting the cashews to come on the side for the cashew chicken, but it gave the dish a nice extra crunch.

This place is terrible. It’s a low-scale chinese restaurant pretending to be an upscale one. I ordered the mixed vegetables and added tofu since it didn’t come with it. They charged $ 3 extra when any other restaurant I’ve ever gotten it to is $ 1. Then, I asked him how much extra it would be for fried rice instead of white rice. He gave me a weird look and then I said, «it does come with rice, doesn’t it?» and he said no. What asian food restaurant doesn’t serve rice??? The cheapest side order of rice you can get is an additional $ 3 and instead of rice they give you a roll… The food was bland and unflavorful and then today my stomach was extremely upset and I don’t get sick easily. Between the extra money, bland food, and being sick, I won’t be going back.

My husband used to take me here when we were dating, towards the end of the 90’s — he grew up in Manchester, and it was his Kowloon. Recently we were in the area, and it is one of the only restaurants open until 1am, and we were starving, so we went in. I can’t remember the last time we were there, but it’s probably been at least 10 years. It was almost 12:30am on a Saturday morning, so the bar was rockin’, but the restaurant was almost empty. They gave us crab rangoon(instead of chicken wings, which is good, because I don’t care for chicken wings) to gnaw on while waiting for the food — and the minute I ate a chicken finger I remembered why I liked the place so much. It isn’t the best Chinese food I’ve ever had — and the place isn’t so antiseptic you could eat off the floor. It reminds me of why I like Kowloon. The food is really good, the staff is really great, and it is convenient.
