If you want sailing tips, Claude patiently shares his wisdom and experience. If you simply desire to sit back, relax and bask in the incredible views, you will be delighted. I sail every summer with Claude and Judy and my annual visit from California is not complete until I spend a wonderful day on their boat, taking in the New England coastline. If you appreciate sailing and being out on the ocean observing one of this country’s hidden treasures, my experience tells me that a day on the Frayed Knot will be part of your summer leisure plans on a recurring basis.

We booked a 3 hour sailing charter with Captain Claude and his wife Judy for me and my finance. My experience on Frayed Knot was absolutely fantastic! The boat is super clean and they were very nice people. Had a great time and I would highly recommend them!

We had a group of four go out for a few hours with Claude and Judy, and had a fantastic time! We wanted to do a lesson, so they were more than happy to let us take the helm. They explained everything they were doing and let us do as much or as little as we wanted. It was such a fun and relaxing experience, and I would recommend to anyone.

Frayed Knot was absolutely amazing! We booked a 3 hour sailing charter with Capt. Claude and his lovely wife Judy for a Bachelorette party and it could not have been more amazing. All of the girls had a great time and we sailed back and forth along the Boston Harbor. Claude was extremely responsive in booking and worked with us to make sure we could do this within our budget (he even accommodated us and sailed down to Boston to pick us up!). The boat is BYOB and they provided waters, cheese/​crackers, fresh fruit, and little chocolates to finish the perfect day. They also have an auxiliary cable and allow us to play our own music. It was an absolutely perfect afternoon! I would highly recommend booking them!

Frayed knot is run by the amazing husband and wife team, Claude and Judy. They have a beautiful boat… everything is sparkling clean! They are also super accommodating. I’ve gone out with them twice now, and have always had an excellent time. It’s a beautiful day out on the boat, and they really know what they’re doing. I can’t wait to take another trip with them!

We set the weekend up for my sisters bachelorette in Boston. Since we are going to Boston, why not sail?! From day one to months later Captain Claude and Judy have been nothing but accommodating to make for a perfect experience.
The first weekend in May can be chilly, they provided jackets, blankets and a quillo. The sail was for three Relaxing hours. They were kind and polite. Very nice people. Our group really enjoyed their time!

The Frayed Knot is a family owned and operated charter; Capt. Claude along with his wife and first mate Judy are both experienced sailors.
I reserved an evening cruise for a surprise engagement and they were both very interesting, polite and welcoming people. My guests were blown away by the experience and I hit it out of the park with my surprise, my fiancé loved it. I spoke with Capt. Claude before hand and even though I didn’t need to ask for much I felt that they were welcoming and would do anything to make the experience a memorable one. Even a last minute request made within reason was accomodated.
First of all the boat is beautiful, and it’s big and I think that 6 – 10 people could comfortably enjoy a cruise with out feeling cramped. Every one of my guests were excited and comfortable. .light snacks were provided and drinks were made available even though this was BYOB. Don’t worry about utensils like I did, there were glasses for the toast and champagne had i forgotten to get some.
I will spare no praises in saying that they certainly made this experience as easy as possible for me and I appreciate it.
