I attended Batfest 2015. The entrance process was a complete dumpster fire. There was no signage designating which lines were for folks with prepaid tickets from those for people paying cash. The line(singular) for folks who had prepaid tickets was significantly longer than the lines(plural) for folks buying tickets on site. If I prepaid, why am I waiting in a line other than the security at the gates in the first place? The prepaid line moved so slowly I thought an 80 year old must be working the station. However, when I finally got to the front, I found two women scanning tickets with a single phone. While standing there, the phone received a call which the employee answered. She had a 1 – 2 minute conversation which meant that she could not scan our tickets. We stood there in disbelief, a line of 50 people waiting behind us, watching this woman talk on the phone, not scanning tickets. Ridiculous. Once through the gates, the sound was good. So there’s that.

DONOTBOOKTHISPRODUCTIONCOMPANY!!! Tried over and over to reach them for Bat Fest, Austin, TX regarding my VIP package. Left several phone and email messages. No one ever contacted us, as to where we park, where we pick up admit tickets, etc… No one manages this company. They are a take your $$$$$ company and the rest is up to you.

As an attendee, can sincerely say I think they’re a HORRIBLE production company. Louisiana Swamp Thing Fest 2015 worst event I’ve ever been to. In my opinion, a huge rip off, disorganized, lack of vendors, no fun to be had. Please be certain to find out exactly what you are getting for the paid admission price to any of their events. LSTFSO different this year, but SAME price as last year. Sad. :(
