Enjoyed the nice atmosphere and very friendly waiter. We were seated immediately at one of the center tall tables. The appetizers came out quickly. Our dinner took a very long time to arrive. Once it did, we all enjoyed the food of Jack’s Special and my smoked salmon sliders, along with a fish sandwich and flatbread.

We went last night for Mother’s Day because the reviews were so amazing, and I was very disappointed. Everything was kind of just average. The service was average, maybe slightly below. The calamari was overcooked and rubbery, my four cheese ravioli was a bit cold and while it wasn’t bad, it was nothing to write home about. My daughter’s split the fettuccini Alfredo. They are 3 and 6 so as long as it is noodles they will eat it, but my husband and I each took a bite and found it to be the worst we’ve ever had. Seriously this dish makes Olive Garden look 5 star. The pasta wasn’t even cooked properly, it was overcooked mush. The one highlight of the meal was my husband’s oysters Rockefeller, it is one of his favorite dishes and he says it was one of the best he has ever had anywhere. I believe in giving places a second chance, so if my husband ever wants oysters Rockefeller I’d accompany him and maybe try a pizza next time? Those all seem to have good reviews.

Huge compliments to our bartender Gabe. Made excellent drinks and provided superior service!!! We haven’t had a chance to eat here but as frequent old town mana sasses visitors we love visiting locations that can produce professionalism, character, and still a sense of familiarity as far as service! Will be visiting this location soon and frequently!

Tonight, my wife and I ate here for a date night. The food was really good. The food was nice and hot and came fairly quickly, but I will elaborate more, starting with arriving at Monza: Finding the front door was just a tad confusing, it is actually on the side of the building, rather than on the side facing the main street. Entering, I was taken aback by how little waiting space there was. It seemed like as soon as you walk in you are so close to the people sitting at the bar that it was a little disorienting. I watched a few come in and it seemed they had the same reaction: it took everyone a few seconds to figure out where to ask for a table. We were told the wait for a table would be about 15 – 20 minutes, but it really was more like 30 – 45 minutes. There is not much standing room; the bar is right there and there is a waiting table that seats maybe six and that’s about it. The bar was super crowded with people(customers and staff) running back and forth, so I felt like I had to dodge someone every 30 seconds. After we were seated we took a look at our menus. The menu I had must have had a printing error because instead of turning it horizontally to look at the other side I had to turn it vertically, other wise it would be upside-down. It is a little picky, but it was frustrating. My wife’s menu was in the correct format. The waitress was very helpful. She kept our drinks full and made sure we were happy. The food came out pretty fast. I believe it was about 10 minutes or less. It was nice and hot and tasted very good. Our desserts were also great and tasted fresh. The check did take awhile to come. We waited about 15 minutes after we finished our dessert for the waitress to come to our table to bring the check. The prices were fair and was justified by the great food. Overall, 4⁄5

We had a fantastic reasonably priced meal with great service. The Lasagna was great and a huge portion, Meat and cheese appetizer was great, kids loved the Pizza and the spaghetti and meatballs. The Portuguese Red and Portuguese White wines were both excellent choices for the adults. We returned on Valentine’s day and had another great meal and great time. Definitely one of the best restaurants in PWC.

While visiting family we had chance to eat at Monza and it was a great experience from beginning to end. Despite a short wait we were seated and had calamari for an appetizer and it was very good. Service was efficient despite restaurant being very busy I had the full portion of Ahi tuna and it was outstanding. Enjoyed with Backhouse Pinot Noir that was so reasonably priced we took a bottle home. Thank you Zack GM for your good humor and excellent customer service. We will be back next time we’re in Manassas

The food is good and they offer substitutes so my entrée comes out the way I want it. The tiramisu is amazing. The service is always good and the staff is nice.

Reading my review in a sea of rave reviews probably makes me sound crazy… but tonight was not a good night here. It’s my 2nd time and the first time I only ordered drinks, this time I ate with a friend. Our pizza orders were messed up twice — once the wrong crust(I wanted gluten free), then the wrong chicken(I just wanted plain grilled chicken) & my mixed greens salad was literally swimming in dressing. The dressing was tasty but it was like ordering a side of lettuce with my dressing. Not a crisp piece of lettuce on that plate. Luckily, the server was attentive! Friendly, prompt & apologetic :) However, she wasn’t well versed on the menu and told my friend his pizza would have tomato sauce but it didn’t, just big chucks of sundried tomatoes. He was bummed but still ate it because after he waited so long for the correct orders, he was too hungry to wait again. The manager never came by but our server says he/she offered us free dessert — bread pudding, 6 out of 10 on taste — and we got free bread. I wasn’t charged for the salad, which was good! Overall, I love the atmosphere and really appreciated the free dessert and customer service.

Longtime old town Manassas favorite at this point. Last Thursday I came here and had a «Monza Beer Burger» that was absolutely transcendent. It’s a pretty messy burger to eat and at $ 13 it isn’t cheap, but man oh man is it worth it. For starters, the ground beef patty is so good. Juicy and full of flavor. Next you get the mushrooms and beer sauce, and the cream aioli. Finally, the bun is just the right size to facilitate eating the burger without filling you up on bread. If you’re out for a craft beer and burger in Manassas, it just doesn’t get any better than Monza. I can also tell you their pizzas are excellent and available gluten free if desired.

Full disclosure. I was visiting my best friend, whom I hadn’t seen in months, so I was already in a spectacular mood. The best friend and I always split everything when we go out to eat together. And this meal was no different. We ordered white sangria($ 7), oysters rockafeller($ 10), Monza salad($ 5.50), Tuscany pizza($ 12), and tiramisu($ 7). Everything was as described on the menu and had great flavor profiles. The stand out was the oysters. And I don’t even like oysters. I have been craving them since I ate here last Friday. Price seemed just slightly high for only 5 oysters, but they were divine. We were surprised that the small salad was actually large enough for us to split, and we ended up with pizza left over. We were very full by the time we left. Service was great. There when we needed it and never overbearing. The food came out quickly and in the proper order too. We took advantage of the free dessert offered for checking in on Unilocal. Thanks! Live music was starting up as we were getting ready to leave, and there seemed to be a good group gathering around the musician. I would certainly return with my friend on my next visit to Manassas.

Overall a good experience. Great service, outdoor seating, and lovely weather! The menu looked delicious but we only stopped in for a quick appetizerfest. The sliders were OK. Not bad but nothing special. The fish tacos were also just OK. They fell apart as soon as I picked them up which forced me to eat them like a salad. We didn’t mind too much but the flavor, again, was just alright. We likely won’t return as the food didn’t wow us with how expensive everything is. It’s a shame!

I really, really love Monza. The food is great, especially their pizzas. They have a huge martini list with $ 5 specials on Mondays. I have sat at the bar several times and the restaurant a few times and both have been good experiences. The vibe is laid back and informal and the décor is homey and modern at the same time. Service is always attentive and courteous and I just like it here. Monza has been a wonderful addition to Old Town Manassas and a great alternative to their neighboring restaurant, Carmello’s.

I came here with my mom and a friend of mine for a happy hour dinner outing. We ordered some martinis, tons of apps and decided to take advantage of the Touch Tunes juke box, and that’s when it got awkward and took a turn for the worst. As everyone knows you have to pay $ 1+ to play a song on one of those things. Well we played a song and not more than halfway through the bartender decided to skip it. Obviously being a little thrown back we asked why she did that and she said she’d replay it. Here’s where it gets awkward. The beer reps at the bar and the bartender decided to talk about it and the song for a long enough amount of time that we decided to leave. It’s a shame because if that hadn’t of happened we would’ve probably stayed there for several more hours. The food was decent. We usually love Carmellos their sister restaurant next door so that was expected, the drinks were tasty although the martinis were on special($ 5 on Mon) and tasted a little watered down. If you come here, expect some good drinks and food, but if you decide to change up the music from anything other than«crooning» expect your money to be taken and your songs skipped.

It is such a beautiful day I decided to sit outside on the patio. I did go inside to wash my hands & the restaurant itself is lovely. This is my first time here and I’m having brunch. I ordered the French toast which came with bacon and eggs, I must say it’s very light and fluffy quite delicious. Yum! I definitely will return and tell others about it.

Probably the best restaurant that is in the wasteland known as Manassas. The food is good, the beer selection is amazing, and service is good to great if you sit at the bar. Best bet, food wise, are the pizzas. Sandwiches are fine if you like frozen fries, which I don’t. If I can cut a potato and deep fry it, you can too! Ps Beer fiends will be happy here. Promise!

I can’t believe this was my first time here, it’s so cute and quaint. The bar is to the left when you walk in, it has an old cabin-like feel to it, large wood bar top, plush stools, I was instantly a fan; I kept saying«it’s so cute in here!». 6 of us sat at the bar, it was a quiet night so I think we were a welcomed distraction for the bartenders. I ordered the Vienna Lager, it’s a little more hopping than a Yuengling, pretty good. When I checked in I received a free dessert with pizza purchase; I ordered the Hawaiian BBQ Pulled Pork pizza– apparently I ordered off an old menu because all the items on the one I initially ordered from weren’t part of the meal. The old one had feta, pineapple, pulled pork, and BBQ. The new one has BBQ, pulled pork, pineapple, bacon, and jalapenos. I didn’t have much of a choice since the first pizza doesn’t exist so I went for the spicy one… and man was it spicy! The jalapenos were so fresh and tasty, I had to cut them in half and even remove some! Quality was good though, good crust, plenty of toppings throughout, pretty happy with my decision for $ 14. I had a few bites of my friend’s tortellini… this is what I’m getting next time– YUM. The dessert I chose was the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake. please and thank you can I have another? I would definitely suggest this as a date night spot, I’d like to sit in the dining area next time. Thanks to our lovely bartender, David as well!

Second time at Monza and it was just as great as the first time. The service was awesome thanks to Carlos, food was very delicious and my Sangria was high on the alcohol, which is always an A+ in my book. Mozzarella Sticks– deep fried, cheesy goodness! The marinara sauce was nice and hot and the cheese pulled apart just the way it should. Monza Pizza– A toned down version of the meathead pizza with pepperoni, italian sausage, chicken and marinara sauce. It was pretty good I enjoyed all the meats but the dough was too chewy. I do like the thin crust style. Crème Brulee– my favorite part of the meal!!! The custard was a bit thicker than how I’ve had other crème brûlée but it was still melt in your mouth deliciousness. It was sweet, rich and topped with a perfect hard caramel. I can’t wait to come back and try their other items — to the pizza and pasta, it all sounds very good. It’s a great place for big groups, hanging out and relaxing.
