We had a little unpleasantness during a home inspection, and then some lovely pleasantness getting it fixed.
We had a darn near perfect home inspection, and then just as they were leaving — the ceiling n the guest bathroom FELL THROUGH!!! The air conditioner had a drip pan issue, and it gushed a gallon or so of water onto the ceiling from above, which saturated the drywall, etc. Sploosh!
We had a handyman do some drywall work while we were fixing it up to sell, but the price he quoted me was sky high (plus he had no plan to dry out the wetness…), and I needed help. My real estate agent connected me to these guys — not actually the most pleasant folks to deal with over the phone, but I don’t even care. They did a GORGEOUS job on the ceiling, fixed everything, re-​painted, put up a new wallpaper border and did it all in like two days. It was STELLAR.
The lack of star is for their customer service in administrative matters — they were downright unpleasant on the phone, and very difficult to reach, to pay and to just talk to. But in the end, completely worth it. If they hired a friendly voice for the phone, they would be GOLD, Jerry, GOLD!
