We had Shawn come out to take a look at our fireplace. He told us beforehand how much it would be and that’s how much it was… no surprise charges. When he came into the house, he took off his shoes and laid a sheet down where he was working, which we really appreciated since we just had our wood floors refinished. He was in and out in no time and had our fireplace not only working, but looking nice and clean as well.

Took his shoes off and laid down a tarp to work on so as not to soil the carpet and within a minute of looking, he knew exactly what the issue was. He was very pleasant and kind. He honored the active duty military discount and gave us $ 20 off a $ 150 house call. All around great experience plus he fixed it the same day that my tenant called. A dream vendor to work with. Will definitely keep his information on file if I ever need him again. Highly recommend!!!

Gas Fireplaces By 3 was actually the third place I called. The previous places I contacted were bigger outfits and never called me back. Gas Fireplaces By 3 was fast, friendly, and efficient. He offered to come the very next day (on a Saturday) and provided us a very reasonable estimate. Cleaned and inspected our gas fireplace and got all the white stuff off of the glass. The fireplace looks great now. I plan on calling them every year.

We just bought a house in Woodbridge that came with a lazy fireplace. Only the previous owners had turned off the pilot light to save money. I had the instructions, watched 3 videos on youtube, but couldn’t bloody get the pilot to light. I called Shawn who said with the service call it would be about $ 150 but he could come the next day. I live in BFE, so I understand there is drive time. He showed up, ahead of time, figured out the remote wasn’t working because the batteries were dead — replaced the battery in the remote control, figured out which wall switch turned on the fireplace (we didn’t even know the wall switch existed) lit the pilot light and had everything good to go. Now I can just flip a switch and have instant coziness. Now if it would just stop being 70 degrees in December, I could enjoy the fireplace.

I have been searching for a gas fire place repair/​maintenance service provider for a couple of months. I was not getting good results for our area and decided to look further north. I came across Gas Fireplaces by 3 and read the reviews. I called Shawn Corbin, not knowing if he would come out all the way to Fredericksburg. To my surprise, he said he would be in the area on one weekend and set up an appointment for us. Shawn provided excellent service. He was very thorough with his work and explained everything to us. He was very courteous, polite and on time. I would definitely call him again for our gas fireplace! He was awesome!

Just had Shawn come out to look at our gas fireplace. This would be our first year using it so we wanted a blower installed. There was a problem with the air mixture that the gas company could not remedy. Shawn was very knowledgable and happy to share that knowledge we us and fixed the problem with no issue. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone. He is professional, knows his stuff and charges reasonable rates.
