I went to this pawn shop to verify the karats of a ring that the mark had worn off. They tested and said that it was plated, I knew this wasn’t right so I took it to another gold shop they tested it and it tested 10−14k not plated with real diamonds. Dixie Pawn also had tested a ring that was clearly stamped 14k and said it was only 10k the other gold place tested and verified it was definitely 14k.
These people at Dixie Pawn are frauds. I had already used my testing kit at home and was just looking for verification, not looking to sell. They are very dishonest and will pay half of what your item is worth.
