Battery Heights Apartments

I am a condo owner in the Battery Heights Condos, located right next to the Battery Heights Apartments. Since the Condo Association does not have an event room, we annually rent out the Apartment side event room for our Home Owners Associate meeting.
I’ve been coming here for this meeting for three years now, and coincidently, my dad and step mother used this room for their wedding reception 17 years ago.
When I arrived last night I was pleasant surprised at the recent renovations. Gone are the dark and drab curtains that lined the floor to celing windows. The curtains have been replaced by wood blinds. The older tables and chairs have been replaced with low profile, modern couches and stone and iron tables. The harsh lighing has also been removed and drop lighting has been installed with beautiful lampshades suspended from the ceiling.
It’s clean and beautifully decorated.
I can’t really speak much for the actual apartments as I have only ever been in one and that was years ago. The event room and the grounds however are both really nice.

I have been living here for almost a year now. The folks that live around here are, for the most part, quite nice. Of course, I will always have issues with Condo Associations and their rules regarding ownership! Anytime an organization is allowed to impose fines on you as a homeowner I think it’s a crime to all Americans trying to make right today by owning a home. But as a wise man once said…“the Dude abides man, the Dude abides.”
