Food was okay. I won’t go back. Before you try to use one of their coupons, be sure to get out a magnifying glass to read the fine print. They don’t accept coupons on holidays. Place is always empty and prices are high.

Walked in on a rainy Friday night with only 4 tables occupied which led to fantastic service from Jackie, our waitress. I ordered the gyro and it was good. The lamb was a little dry and it needed a little more tzatziki sauce for my taste. But did i mention its was huge! My daughter ordered the kids chicken tenders and they were flavorful and juicy. She enjoyed them very much. My son ordered the beef ravoli and it was just ok. It comes in a small casserole dish with melted cheese on top. It was a little too cheesy for his tastes. This place seems to be on point for the pizza. Many people were coming in to pick up pizza for take out. The table next to us ordered a pizza and I was jealous as the smells passed me when the waitress delivering the pizza to the table. I see pizza in my future here!

Amazing service. Spoke with the owner he was very nice, they were slow but you can’t fake good service. Very reasonable priced food, good portions, and good quality for the price. If your in the area and want a quick bite of decent food stop here.

Was disappointed to see they have raised prices so much… so if you’re savvy, you can find a discount, but why not just leave the prices the way they were?

The hubby has been eating here since he was a kid. If it’s been around that long it must be great. We’ve eaten here a few times now, food tastes great every time, but prices are slowy climbing up. We always order the tour of Italy plate, I don’t recall if that was olive garden’s terminology or theirs. The dish consisted of baked spaghetti, a big meatball, a sausage cut in half, a manicotti, and two meat stuffed ravioli. I could never finish it, you get a side of salad and bread. I wish they would serve garlic knots instead of bread dipped in butter or garlic. They also have a lot of other items on their menu that I would like to try.

An absolutely wonderful resturant!!! The staff is very welcoming, and nice. The menu is large with everything you could want. Make sure at save room for desert, which will be hard with the large portions they give. I will be back every time I am in the area!

We went there last Sat Dec 20, 2014 based on the good reviews we found on Yulp AND what a WASTE of $$$ and time. I have been to so many restaurants around the east coast and works in this field for so many years. I can tell you the food is disgusting! no way it is FRESH. Tasteless and obvious some of the meals were frozen before. The waitress was so rushing us to get out and she was not friendly at all. Yes the portion is a lot, but for what? this place is disgusting and I DARE the owner to open his kitchen to customers or health inspectors to take a look. Watch Gordon Ramsey kitchen Nightmare and you know what I mean. I definitely do not recommend this place to anyone. Don’t waste your time and MONEY. Will never go there again!

The food is great. They give you a lot of food. It is worth the price you pay. Their service is also good. They are polite and has a nice attitude. They will occasionally ask if everything is okay. They will also ask to refill your drink when they see that your drink low. The atmosphere is mediocre. They don’t get a lot of business. I have been there twice and the most tables being used was 4 tables. I went on a weekday. Overall, service 5/5, food 4/5, price 4/5, environment/atmosphere/decorations/location/design of building 3.5÷5. My final statement: pretty good.

I just ate there and they were having plumbing problems. The smell(guess what kind of smell…) ruined my experience. I wasn’t the only one complaining either. I’m shocked they are allowed to operate a restaurant without functional restrooms! For the prices they charge, you’d expect to be treated better… never again.

We decided to try Anthony’s for lunch and the food we got was sub-par. The tomato sauce tasted burnt and the veal parm had no taste. Will someone please tell me where there is good italian food in Northern Virginia.

This place is a good place to go if you’re around the area. I was hungry and thought to look around the area for something that isn’t fast food so I found this restaurant. Service was really fast! Ordered a pizza for carryout, took 10 minutes almost exactly. Second I walked in it was ready. The cashier gave me a bunch of plates and utensils to go with as well as napkins. I was really appreciative. I was trying to walk out and the napkins fell on the floor so he grabbed more and put everything in a bag for me. Very considerate. The food was above average in my opinion. The pizza itself tasted good, a little on the oily side and the cheese would fall off which is why I’m giving it 4 star, but the taste was great. Definitely would like to try more from here and will do so in the future.

Belgian waffle was excellent, and I added two eggs and sausage. The eggs I ordered over medium and they were perfect! The sausage was very tasty and the service was first class! Thanks for a great Father’s Day breakfast.

Had the pizza with Italian sausage, green peppers, onions, mushrooms and spinach. Tasted really good. Also had the gyro the other day. Was pretty darn good too. Always order extra white sauce with the gyro.

The pros; Polite, friendly staff. Good, well prepared food. The cons; A little pricey Could use a makeover I’ll come back again. Good food with a relaxed atmosphere… I will pay a bit more for that.

Get the take out. This place has ok food. Maybe«ok» is too strong of a word. In the entrance area there are some plaques hanging on the wall commemorating Anthony’s being one of the best restaurants in the area. However, the most recent is dated a decade ago. If you go in there at lunch time, the place is a ghost town. You almost expect a tumbleweed to go rolling by. But the food is ok. We like to get gyros every now and then, and this place has gyros as good as anyone else. The last time they were a bit stingy with the sauce though. But what really eeked out Precious was the smoking room. We were coming back from the movies, and we stopped in to get some gyros. Right when you walk in on the right side is a smoking room. I don’t know what the laws are in Virginia about smoking restaurants, but evidently it’s legal if they have a separately ventilated room. The problem was that the entrance to the room is right next to the front door, ANDTHEDOORTOTHESMOKINGROOMWASOPEN!!! And the stink emanated throughout the entire lobby area. I hadn’t smelled the stale stench of aging cigarette butts in years. Precious is intolerant of that stale stench so she went out in the car, and I ordered to go.

Went here because my bf wants to go to more places that I guess are«hole in the wall». Anthony’s isn’t hole in the wall but it’s definitely a place I wouldn’t look at twice if I was driving by. We got the mild«buffalo wings» and they weren’t the typical buffalo wings you would traditionally think of. They weren’t drenched in any buffalo sauce and they were dry with barely any taste. I would give this 1.5÷2 out of 5. For our entrees my bf got the baked sausage spaghetti and I got the chicken Parmesan sub with fries. Parmesan sub I would give a 3 out 5. The buns it came in were nice and toasty, chicken was a tad but dry and could’ve used a bit more Mariana. Baked spaghetti was definitely a 4 out of 5! It had enough flavoring and everything about it was delicious! OMG and the portions are HUGE definitely enough to share with two people and leftovers. It was definitely family style. I have to come back and try to the pizza and everything else. Wait staff are pretty friendly as well.

Calimari was better than most places. I liked that they put their sauce on the side instead of drenching the fried squid in sweet sauces. Greek salad, get the small! even 4 people can share this. It’s that big. Pitted black olives, large slices of feta cheese, fresh lettuce and onions with a light vinaigrette dressing. Had the eggplant parm sub. Wasn’t the best I’ve had. I’d give it 3 stars. Service was great. Will def come back + recommend.

This place is a solid 4. Authenticate is the best word to describe this place. The service was good. The prices were decent. The food was excellent, with really no where to improve. For a Saturday evening, we were surprised it was not more crowded. I will go back. Give it shot.
