Some friends and I rented stand up paddle boards from SUP Place as a fun activity to do instead of laying on the beach all day. Dave was awesome. We went out at sunset and he met us only a few blocks from the house. I personally had never been SUP before and was a bit nervous. With Dave’s instruction, I felt totally comfortable. He even brought he adorable dog Lucy, who sat on the his board the whole time we were SUP! Totally awesome experience which topped off the perfect beach weekend. Definitely recommend!

Great activity to do in a group — even for those that lack coordination! A friend convinced us to give paddle boarding a shot and I had a wonderful time. All equipment was provided for us and before going out on the bay we received step-​by-​step instructions as to how to use our boards and oars. Before I knew it, we were halfway across the way on our own Lewis & Clark-​esque adventure. Can’t wait to give paddle boarding a second try! Thanks to Dave & co for a fun outing.

A perfect day! This past weekend my girlfriends and I rented Paddle Boards from The Stand Up Paddle Place as an activity to do during «Girls Weekend». Best decision we made all weekend.
The whole experience from start to finish was perfect. Dave (from the SUP place) showed up on time at the location of our choice (Lavallette, NJ) — set up all the boards and gave great instruction on how to get in and proper technique while on the board. Two friends in the group had never been and they were nervous. Dave was able to easy their fears about staying balanced… and away we went.
We were even given pouches to put our phones in so we could take pictures while we were out on the water!
Highly recommend. Awesome activity for summer!
