Kim and her team are so sweet! I wanted a Mardi Gras themed wedding, and Kim nailed it! My bouquet was colorful and beautiful. She decorated the arch and added a little extra. The corsages and boutonnieres were perfect! Kim is affordable and so very kind. I had nothing to worry about and would totally recommend her for any event.

What a wonderful experience! I was visiting from out of town and wanted to grab flowers for a family member. The owner was in and super sweet! Also April was helpful. I gave her a budget and she put together a beautiful bouquet!!! Definitely recommend!

I’m lucky enough to have a husband who buys me flowers here every week! I love the exotic seasonal flowers and in general their flowers are gorgeous. An arrangement can easily last me 7 days to 12 days. The girls that work there are always so pleasant and sweet and above all CREATIVE! If you like unique flowers at an affordable price then look no further!

My mother sent me surprise flowers except the surprise was ruined by the driver. She called and said «I have flowers for you from someone and we went to your place today but you weren’t there and the gste was locked when will you be home.» I explained I wouldn’t be home until 5:15 and she said «oh sorry I go home then but you can go to the store until 8 pm to pick them up» I informed the driver to please go back to my complex ring the bell and someone will let her in. I called my mother they had told her they delivered until 6 and she had requested after 5:30. When I arrived home flowers were there and I called and reported the incident to the owner. She understood and would deal with it but I was not a happy customer.

Beautiful, custom, talented arrangements. I needed a quick arrangement and under a certain amount and wow did they deliver!
I love supporting local businesses and will continue to support this business. Can’t wait for the next time I need an arrangement.

I was in town on vacation over Valentine’s Day, and made a special order from Impulsive a few weeks in advance. Not having ever done business with them I was a little nervous, but they came through with a really great arrangement done to my specifications. The arrangement of orchids and bromeliads put a smile on my wife’s face and looked really great. A week later it is still holding up and makes our rental into a much nicer place.
²⁄₁₄ is a busy day for florists, and there was a minor hitch in my order but Impulsive set things right and I am completely satisfied with their work.

Best flowers in San Diego hands down. They couldn’t deliver to an address I asked them to deliver to and instead of refunding my money and telling me good luck, they found another florist, who they trust, to deliver an amazing arrangement.
As a deployed marine, sending beautiful flowers is extremely important and Impulsive does an amazing job every time. Even on a limited timeline with very little instruction, their arrangements are beautiful and unique. I will use them for all my sd flower needs forever.

Anytime I am looking to buy some flowers to spruce up my kitchen or living room I always go to Impulsive flowers the women who work here are extremely friendly and we always have fun together picking out and creating new arrangements. I have had flowers delivered from here before to friends and family in the area and they have always been impressed with what they received. A lot of people will say this place is overpriced, but remember, you are in San Diego, in Pacific Beach, on Garnet Ave, were you really expecting to find a deal or something? Everything in the area is overpriced so quit complaining!

I buy flowers from here all the time. They are amazing at what they do… let them make their magic vs picking out your own flowers, you won’t regret it. My mother in law also calls here from Seattle every time she wants to send me flowers and has them delivered. Every delivery has been on time and the arrangements are always beautiful. They might look like just another little corner flower shop, but they are great!

I hate to give a bad review, but this was a very important order for our office for a colleague who had surgery. I picked Impulsive Flowers because they were right down the street from the delivery address. I ordered the flowers on Monday afternoon and they said it was too late to deliver them and I understood… but then they completely forgot or messed up and the next day (they had all day to deliver) someone had to rush after the deliveries were done and they put the flowers on the doorstop. My friend didn’t even know anything was on the doorstop and found them this morning… Wednesday. I called them to tell them I won’t be using their services anymore. Can’t screw up something like that. Tells me people are not caring over there. Sorry, I will never use them again. Florists need to be RELIABLE.

OVERPRICED! They charge by the freaking STEM! This includes FILLERS that are thrown in for free at other shops! NEVER AGAIN!

Best Flower Shop in San DIego! It is my go to flower shop– they are friendly, creative and always work with your budget. I’ve used them for all my parties/​special events and I am always impress with the attention to detail and reasonable prices. April and Melissa are two fantastic florists! Love this place.

Can’t believe the unprofessionalism of this place. I placed an order through
. These were meant to cheer up a friend who has just lost a parent. I was so impressed that the arrangement was delivered within two hours, however when she sent the pic and a thx I realized there were no roses in the arrangement. We paid for the premium and it was supposed to include some pretty lavender roses, not one was to be found. I called the website customer service and was told the florist would be contacted and this would be rectified by sending a new arrangement the following day. To my dismay and embarrassment I get a text saying that the florist is demanding the old flowers back before they deliver the appropriate one. Was she expected to leave work, drive an hour to and from home to retrieve said flowers and return them to these people? She had no clue they would be delivering new flowers!!! (I was never informed that the condition for the new delivery was an exchange!) The delivery girl shows up to her place of employment demanding the old flowers before she leaves the new and improved arrangement, which was smaller than the previous, has to be asked by management to wait outside due to her rude and inappropriate behavior. In the end she left the new one and told my grieving friend in a very rude manner to keep the old ones,“compliments of the manager”!!! Needless to say «Impulsive Flowers» is a complete and utter disappointment!!!

Sending flowers is always a gamble unless you go to a store, hand pick them yourself, and critique the florists arrangement. Who has time to do that?! Certainly not me!
I needed to send an arrangement to highlight a special benchmark for someone and I didn’t trust picking up the phone and calling 1−800-flowers or visiting
. I needed to speak to a real, live person and confirm that they could fulfill my order exactly as I outlined it.
Thank goodness for Unilocal, I found Impulsive Flowers and they were in the area of where I needed the flowers to be sent to. I placed my order over the phone with April. She patiently listened to my nervous rambling then helped me to pick out the perfect arrangement for the occasion — 30 colorful Gerber daisies! (Cost $ 72.50, including delivery)
I also wanted to send the flowers with no signature (anonymous) and I am glad that these ladies know the deal — my recipient called to ask who sent the flowers and they didn’t cave in!
All and all, I was super happy with their floral knowledge and customer service. It’s very hard to trust someone to put a nice something together for you without ever seeing their level of work, but take my word for it — they can be trusted!
My recipient was happy (and surprised) so that made my day (week? month?)! Thumbs up for Impulsive Flowers!

I’m getting used to receiving flowers from the boy, usually already arranged in bouquets, but we were driving by PB today and he saw Impulsive Flowers and wanted to stop and get some.
I wouldn’t say these flowers are «overpriced» but they look better than ones in the store and definitely cost more, as you pay per flower. You have to build your own, so an arrangement you pick out that doesn’t look empty and sad may cost you more than a regular bouquet from Ralph’s or Trader Joes.
The person working there was very friendly. She arranged the flowers the boy picked out and quickly cut, tied, and wrapped them in brown paper with a ribbon. That definitely added a charm towards this bouquet over others!
Not bad, especially if you don’t mind spending the money. Two stargazers and a few of my gerber daisies (my fav) plus two of those long fern looking stems (I’m obviously no expert) and that was around $ 16. It’s not full of the crap plants that you get from grocery store bouquets, at least!

There was nothing special about these florists. We went there on Mother’s day to pick up a bouquet, and I was very disappointed. Not only is it extremely overpriced, but they had nothing ready– I wish that they would have some nice bouquets that you can pick from (especially on a big holiday like this), or you can also build your own. Instead, it’s all build your own… meh.
I wouldn’t come back again.

It’s late Easter morning and I totally forgot to arrange for an Easter lily to be delivered to DH’s moms in PB *gasp*! I recently had a horrible experience with a 1−800-Flowers-type outfit and learned my lesson to ALWAYS «go local» for this sort of thing. Like when you buy cookies.
Gave these gals a call. They were out of the lilies (expected and understandable) but they had my second request: daffodils; specifically, «Something with daffodils, Mom-​ish, spring-​y». Moms received them 20 minutes after I hung up the phone. I know this because she called us immediately to rave about them — and emailed us a photo, too, which I posted. Wow! Ask for some daffodils, and I get an entire garden of fragrant freshness strategically stuffed into a nice-​quality heavy vase instead of a pickle jar. Very well done, Impulsive Flowers! You are worthy of my phone contact list!

I have been blown away by the customer service at Impulsive Flowers. I first contacted them in early February to create an arrangement for my partner’s birthday. I was hoping for poppies but would settle for orchids. Heather wasn’t sure if she’d be able to get them at this time of year but said she would try. A few hours later, I received an email from her letting me know that she wasn’t able to get the poppies but that she had good options in the store. She then attached PICTURES of many different types of flowers (orchids, tulips, anemones, ranucs, etc.) that they had in the store so that I could take my pick. I ended up going with deep blue orchids that arrived to my partner in a breathtaking arrangement.
I don’t live in San Diego but Impulsive Flowers and Heather did an amazing job of making me feel personally involved in the process. If and when I ever need to get flowers for my partner again, I will go nowhere else but Impulsive Flowers.
