10:15 on a Saturday morning. No one answers the door. This is an institution that should be condemned.

Wylie’s is an institution. There are very few old school bait shops left like this, I feel like I’m a kid buying cut squid with my grandfather when I go here. Ginny is great, and you have to cut the place some slack because it’s just one very old lady running the joint. Be happy it’s not bulldozed into a parking lot.

Place says opens at 6:30 on the door. It’s 7:15 and no one is here. Stay away from this!!! No sense of professionalism if you can’t even come to work on time.

So I haven’t been here in years and it was time to take my son fishing. Ginny is the nicest lady around and way cool. Has everything you need and some great stories. Can’t wait to go back! Thank you !

Stopped at this store and waited for 30 minutes next to teh open sign. I knocked and called and knocked again. No one showed up! Ive called twice on two different day since and no one has answered. BE careful before just showing up. Unreliable business hours and staff.

Ginny rules! Stopped by to grab a Wylie’s hat and beanie(cool logo). She was as friendly and engaging as anyone I’ve come across in SoCal. I’ll be stopping back soon, maybe to drop off some of Morey’s breakfast burritos. The world needs more Ginnys!
