Came here at 6:30pm on a Saturday and only one employee working. She was amazing and very calm even though it got pretty busy. She drives far to get to work even though there are plenty of locations closer to her. If you ask me she’s due for a raise! I wish every Starbucks employee was as outgoing as her! And the drinks were perfect.

Closed at 3 in the afternoon? Yes! And the barista was very rude. I will not come back to this location even if the coffee was free. Avoid this Starbucks if you can.

VERDICT: Plenty of seating. Even with a 3-sided gas fireplace. QUALIFIER: Right when they opened in the morning. This location is inside the Vons. FOOD: Doesn’t take rewards free drink redemption. No toaster to reheat packaged parties. SERVICE: Friendly baristas, staffed just enough for the weekend morning crowd.

Today(3:00), they ran out of baked goods, and last Friday(1:15) they ran out of baked goods. I don’t think so. Stock your goodie section and quit lying to me or order some darn baked goods and get your stuff together! I want my freaking coffee cake. I am so peeved. GEEZLUWEEZ!

If only zero stars was an option… this is the absolute worst Starbucks! Even if there’s nobody in line plan on waiting at least 20 minutes. It seems like everyone working is always on their break at the same time, and if anyone happens to be behind the counter there’s a good chance they’ll mess up your order, even if you just order plain coffee. I’d recommend getting coffee from the gas station on the corner rather than going here.

Cool inside when it’s hot outside and in winter they put the logs on the fire ! It’s pretty cosy and with nice staff. For Halloween try the special hot coffee ! Pure happiness ! I miss this place

The woman who was working there was very nice but clearly not cut out for the job. She was older which isn’t always a problem but this was the slowest paced Starbucks I’ve ever been to. I waited a solid 20 minutes and there was only a three person line. They seemed to be out of everything and by 11 they still didn’t have any of their bakery items out. This Starbucks needs to pull it together, there was no work ethic from the employees and the customer service experience was sloppy.

Flies in the bakery case. Told the cashier. Said they’d «tell the manager.» Did nothing while I was there. Sun 7÷27÷201411:00am.

I would like to start this with: Are you kidding me!!! Driving up the coast to Big Sur, really on a Starbucks tour, but I pulled in here, mostly because I had to go to the bathroom. I’m waiting in the line with my wife and there is one person in front of us… waiting…waiting… looking at three barista’s helping one customer, watching fourth barista come over off break, also helping customer…“so…whats a latte called without any foam???” I’m thinking, «its called a no-foam latte»… I ask my wife to order me an iced coffee, because I am going to use the restroom. I come back and she hasn’t moved… This was the worst, the worst experience in oblivious customer and even more shocking employee disregard, for all of us, what are the rest of us doing??? Finally we get up to the counter, no shout out from the line, no «hey can we comp a drink», nothing… When people want two pour drinks– you should get them–«can I get anybody a coffee or expresso drink…» Its called Starbucks training, where did these peopl get hired, trained… Howard didn’t do it, or else they would have been better. So after somebody takes our order, I watch as Maria pours my wifes Tall Iced Coffee and then walks away… to write a note for this previous oblivious customer… are you kidding– I had an Iced coffee too, where’s my iced coffee… she comes back and pours it after like 3 – 4 minutes… not a word out of her… My wife like cinnamon in her coffee and upon turning the little shaker upside down to get some– the chrome lid comes off, splashing into her cup… wtf, I help her scoop out the bulk of the topping and walk the wet shaker over to Maria and let her know what happened. she offers me a new drink and I look at her and all I can say is, «no thank you, we have already been for a lot longer than we intended.» Seriously– the worst, welcome to people who think they are the only ones in the room.

This Starbucks is cool inside. Nice and clean with the pleasant aroma of Java. The employees are friendly and courteous and really go the extra mile to give good service. The barrista made my quad Egg Nog Latte perfectly. I also tried the Pecan Tart just to see if they did it right. It was actually good, not over sweet and had the right balance of Pecan to filling ratio. The crust was light and only lightly sweet in flavor which gave a good balance to the whole tart.

Horrible service. Either they are under staffed or inept I’m not really sure but we waited while they served other people and they received their order. Waited 15 – 20 minutes for order and the waitress did not even know what we ordered. She had to ask. Never said sorry for the wait. It was not just us, everybody was complaining. Never go back here

I work security nearby so I’m in there a few times a week to grab coffee. Never had a bad experience. However their menu is limited and they don’t honor rewards cards cause they aren’t corporate, they’re tied in with Pavilions. The employees hate that they can’t honor rewards members so don’t take it out on them.

The Good News: They’re very laid back about people sitting here FOREVER and being on their laptops and stuff. Very Nice especially for folks that are lonesome. Or have to wait around for a business rendezvous. They even have a nice little fireplace that was lit. The Bad News: Dirty. The tables were never wiped the whole time I was there. There were 4 people working and nobody seemed to be doing anything, except joking among themselves. The manager was loud-mouthed and training the baristas for the benefit of the whole café, often seated sloppily at the side table. He was also rude(not to me… I was«served» by another person) The baristas were nice but sloppy, dirty aprons and uniforms, halfway untied, the floor had a lot of wrappers, napkins and there was spilled sugar on the«condiments» counter. One kind of milk… and you could tell it hadn’t been mopped in A LONGTIME etc., The large, un-opened cardboard«SOLO» cup box sitting at the entrance next to the newstand didn’t look too nice either. After living in Italy for 35 years I am appalled at this amateur approach to something as serious as coffee! :(I found the Starbucks near Ralph’s WAY superior.

I don’t really think about reviewing any starbucks. There no point, they are all the same. But this one. I have to. Went in there, long line(Not that long, maybe 3 – 4 people ahead). Two people working there, a white chick and black guy. The girl took my order, the guy makes them. Waited about. 10 – 15 minutes to get my drink. The guy was messing up his orders left and right. Well, supposedly, he claimed that someone else took the drinks that don’t belong to them. But I didn’t see anyone take any drinks. He was slow, clumsy, impolite. Didn’t know what he was doing and mixing up people’s orders. Starbucks usually have a very good reputation for customer service. That’s why you come even though the prices are on the higher end. The girl made my drink in the end. Managers at this Starbucks, you should look into that guy.

Handsome barista that makes the best drinks ever… All i wanted was a mocha and I got so much more. It’s as if my mocha had whiskey, it was THAT good. Service was speedy and cheerful. If singing irish tunes isn’t cheery I don’t know what is. Thanks Johnny!

Although I do agree that this Starbucks is slower than most. The baristas are usually very nice.(Sometimes a little louder than I would like considering there are a few people reading and on computers.) But I still keep coming back. I am there a few times a week because I love the convenience and location. My drinks are always perfect to boot!
Welcome to the I.

A lil starbucks inside the pavilions. The service was good and our white chocolate mocha was prepared in a timely fashion and we both have say it was by far the WORST we have ever had… THEWORST!!! I didn’t even think it was possible to screw this drink up considering how many times we’ve had it at numerous locations. But apparently at this location… it is!!! To top it off, the worst wifi service ever is included. You’d have better luck with dialup. So if your looking for a good wifi spot and decent coffee, DONOTCOMEHERE!!!

the staff is very courteous, polite, friendly and knowledgeable of the products. compared to other starbucks in malibu, they are faster and thier drinks taste way better. The store is always sparkling clean and I rarely have to wait for my drink. it is a true delight to frequent this starbucks.

Was there earlier today and waited fifteen minutes before leaving without coffee. There was one person behind the counter who, while pleasant, was slow. We had four people ahead of us and envisioned another fiteen minutes minimum to wait. I won’t go back.
