Not bad for a local bar-restaurant. Serving american bar type food. Decent place to stop by when you’re in the mood more for beer than food, but want food too. Little dark inside — but it’s not bad. I kinda like it. You might not?!

mostly a townie bar — but really good people for the most part… the Bloody Mary’s are really great… and where else can you order them by the pitcher? Great local hang out.

Dark, dingy, and wicked fricken packed. Weekend nights almost always end with busted faces in the streets outside. I guess it’s a club dive? I’m not sure. I enter this place only when someone wants to do a proper Malden Bar Crawl. This was the first bar I saw the difference between HD and regular TV. I was inebriated, and the regular TV was very blurry. The HDTV was still crystal clear. It defied my drunk. For that, I guess Veez deserves a star. This place really isn’t a destination station.

Geez… Veez… This is the townie clubby bar of your dreams and nightmares. During the day and evening they serve nuclear nacho piles with jalapeño dribblings and other tasty treats to Keno addicts and the staff of the Elmwood Pharmacy(scroll to that review) on their days off. At night, this place is transformed to a double sided fantasy of townie pub on one side and dance«club» on the other. Straight up, the place is fantastic only for people watching if you’re in that sort of mood and are that sort of person. If you want to go to the pub side, just sit at the bar and avoid the tables that will make you depressed to be sitting in a dank corner. Don’t eat unless you need drunk food. On the club side, grab a table in the corner to avoid eye or body contact. Take in the dancing moves of the local singles against the wall mural backdrop that was basically ripped from a roller rink circa 1981. This is where people go to end their night-a-fancy in Malden and it’s glorious.

While I was here I kept pondering, «How would I Unilocal this place?» I decided that there is only one sentence that can sum my experience here up: If I liked dive bars I would probably love this bar! Dark, grimy, cheap beer, great place to people watch, and they were having a rap-off(in Malden?!)… interesting…
