Salon Hairapy

This was the first time I had a touch up with no burning, just wish I didn’t have to spend the entire day in the salon to get my hair done. They were down two stylists on a Saturday which meant a lot of time waiting. I also wish they had the new, high-​tech, fast drying hair dryers, that would have cut down on the wait time too.
I will definitely go back to get my touch up in a few months but will make sure I go during the week.

Salon Hairapy is, by far, the best salon in the Greater Boston area that accommodates all hair types and styling preferences. I’ve been here several times and they NEVER disappoint. The service is phenomenal and the stylists are always professional. Also, the shop is clean and organized and clients are always made to feel welcome and appreciated. I’ve gotten various styles ranging from weaves to natural styles and each time I walk out on cloud nine feeling like a million bucks (for lack of a better term). Another bonus is that Kathy’s skills aren’t limited to hair. She also offers detoxifying facials and full service make-​up artistry.
Kathy is a magician, her hospitality is amazing, and her work ethic sets the bar. 5 STARS!

I have been going to Salon Hairapy for quite some time since it opened. Kathy the owner is amazing and actually does hair in the salon. She is extremely talented, professional and very informative about all different types of hair. I recently went natural and Kathy has helped me throughout the process w/​all the do’s and don’ts. All the staff are very professional. The receptionist is great and very professional as well. I strongly recommend this salon for all your hair needs!

I went here on a recommendation of a friend, when I found out my regular salon had closed and I was extremely happy with the results. I got a partial sew-​in, styled in a layered bob with Patricia. The two main things that will keep me coming back are 1) I showed her a picture and she did exactly what I wanted, and 2) I could tell from the way she did my hair that she cared about hair care (and not about just throwing the weave in my head as fast as possible, which I have found to be way too common when get weaves/​braids).
The salon itself was very nice and easy enough to get to on public transpo. Overall, it was a great atmosphere to get my hair done in and I enjoyed meeting the staff, who are very professional, nice, and most importantly talented hair stylists.

I am not very familiar with hair stylists in the area, so a colleague suggested Salon Hairapy for a full weave.
When I called to book an appointment, they told me that on Wednesdays and Thursdays they have «sew-​in specials» with Patricia. This was great, because it saved me 80 bucks.
I am new to full weaves, so I didn’t know what hair to get. They were helpful in making suggestions on what to get.
When I arrived to my appointment, I was promptly taken care of. The front desk was very friendly and offered me water. Patricia was very friendly and did a great job cornrowing my hair. It did not hurt at all.
Patricia ended up stopping near the end to help another client, but Kathy, the owner, finished the weave. She was extremely friendly and professional. She even cut and curled the weave.
When I brushed my hair the next morning, I had a track showing and couldn’t fix it. I called them, and they booked me as soon as possible.
Kathy greeted me with a hug and showed me how to prevent this from happening again. She also cut and styled it.
Excellent customer service. There was no attitude about my hair ordeal, and they fixed it right away and went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied. I’ll definitely go back to them. They do braids as well.
