Called 4 times over the course of 3 weeks. Left 3 messages with my name and phone number and never heard back. If the customer service can’t even get back to me, then how good can their paint job really be? If they are comfortable losing business because they can’t pick up a phone then I don’t think they deserve a star at all. Never had such terrible service with any contractor I tried to work with. My best advice: go elsewhere.

I’ve left messages and emails for this contractor to use a coupon and never gotten any reply. Now when I call their mailbox is full. I’m not even sure if this contractor is still in business? It looks like I’m going to have to try and get a refund unfortunately.

Do Not Buy a Living Social Coupon for Farias Home Painting they will not call you back! After three weeks of calling them with no response I asked for a refund! Mr. Farias called me was very rude and still would not give me a date, told me to text him an he would get back to me with a date, well two weeks later and I still have to heard from him! No way would I want him at my house!!!

I also bought from Living Social from Farias Home improvement (GF Home Improvement). They would only respond if I sent multiple texts and phone calls. We scheduled and re-​schedule FOUR APPOINTMENTS (Feb 7, Feb 21, Mar 14, Mar 21). He always had an excuse as to why they could not come. In the end, I called for a refund and berated Living Social for doing business with them.

I called and texted the owner after purchasing a groupon. He got back to me and we scheduled a time. 3 hrs to paint a 12X12 bedroom. The owner and 1 other man were on time. They spoke english, were professional, didn’t need anything from me besides the paint. They had plastic and a tarp to cover everything. I did have to run out and get a second gallon of paint for a bedroom, as wallpaper previously on the wall took more to cover. They left the room clean.

I bought a groupon to have two of my rooms painted. I was a little nervous bc they hadn’t seen the place beforehand and also I have horsehair walls and they are very uneven. They arrived on time and got started right away. By the time I got home from work, they were done, they were gone and it was dry. It looked so great. I can’t believe how smooth and even it is. I would highly recommend them.
I think the main thing to consider when painting is the quality of paint. I bought Benjamin Moore with a built in primer.

Top notch experience! We hired Gildazo to paint our condo and he did a fantastic job. Worked deep into the evening to finish so we could move in. He was responsive, dependable and was a real pleasure to work with. On top of that he was ½ the cost of the other quotes we received. I highly recommend for painting or handyman work.

Farias Home Improvementis superb. From my very first interaction with Gildazio (the company owner) was extremely professional, reliable, and did fantastic work. I had Gildazio on the job, and he was incredible. Not only was he very neat (there was literally not a drop of paint on any surface other than the walls), but also he typically finished each room in one day and put all the furniture back in its place and vacuumed so that there was no trace of any paintwork in the room. But most importantly, their work is flawless. I highly recommend Gildazio and will absolutely be using them again.
