The beautiful Hawaiian garden outside and the colorful Jacaranda tree out front set the pace for this great hub of the community. Small, but loaded with a wide variety of books, music cds, dvds, books on cd, newspapers and magazines. This place has a friendly staff who know what customer service really should be.
If they don’t have what you need, you are able to order items from other branches (statewide) to be sent there for you. For free!
A must visit if you’re ever in Makawao.

Great library. Very friendly staff, they will always do the best they can to help you find books. You will meet many colorful people at this library. There are also plenty of movies to choose from at the library. There’s also plenty of audiobooks to choose from.
