Ace Beats

Dec. 6, 2015 — We could not have asked for a better DJ to help my wife and I celebrate our special day and night at Olowalu Plantation on the beautiful island of Maui. From the very start, DJ Randy from Ace Beats was easy to work with. He was very attentive during his initial consultation with me and offered some very helpful services on his website. After our ceremony, DJ Randy played some laid back lounge music and island reggae that complimented our cocktail hour nicely. During our reception, DJ Randy provided exceptional MC services which really made our night run smoothly. As a seasoned DJ, he adapted to the dance floor very well and made sure we all had a good time — the proof is in our wedding pictures! Great value for fantastic services, no frills, just a positive humble DJ attitude. We highly recommend Ace Beats. Mahalo!

DJ Skinny Guy is the BEST DJ on the island. He is very genuine and straight forward. When you meet with him, you will instantly feel a connection even though he comes off quiet at first. During our reception, it was GAME ON! He has a really nice radio voice, and was the best emcee ever. During the pre planning, he really studies the list of songs you would like him to play, and really follows through and plays your songs. I made some special recommendations to play specific songs while I’m around and he definitely pulled it through. Everyone complimented on the song choices (mostly chosen by me, but Randy put some of his songs that I didn’t choose which were GREAT). The music and mood of the party really catered to all ages, from kids enjoying the Frozen songs, to my friends and our top 40 and EDM, to our parent’s who like «The Twist» from Chubby Checkers. I’ve never seen our conservative parents get down and twist so much. Everyone really had a blast, and it was thanks to DJ Skinny Guy and his creativity and taste in music. I can’t believe my parents were dancing with us to EDM. It was awesome.
Randy also offers Photo booth services. He will do the graphics for your photo booth. You can choose from a variety of layouts for your photo booth strip. I was really hesitant at first to do a photo booth because I couldn’t tell how the quality of the photos would come out. Considering how particular I was and I was going for a certain type of elegant theme, Randy managed to pull off exactly what I was looking for with my photo strip design. I was pleasantly surprised with his booth as it is actually really modern and new. You can choose color or black and white. It’s got a self timer too. I ended up bringing my own backdrop that my sister made for me. With Randy’s creativity on the graphics of the photo, it came out really well and I was very happy.
Get the DJ/​Photobooth package and save money. I also rented a projector and screen for my slideshow from Randy. The service and presentation of everything was superb! I love Ace Beats!!! No need to look elsewhere! I promise!
