Fantastic service! We had a great meal. If you ask… they will serve it family style. Do: order fried mozzarella appetizer, and zeppoles for dessert.

Three boys is truly a awesome little place. For years this location has been an Italian restaurant and was always hit or miss but now since it has been taken over by a family(Vinny, and Patsy Guadio) who come with many years of owning and managing restaurants through out Westchester and take pride in the quality food they put out is what makes this place truly a gem of place to eat at. Whether you stop in for a delicious slice of their pizza or a full sit down meal you can not no wrong. I was originally from Yonkers where pizza is king and I can honestly say Three boys has one of the best slices around and their Sicilian is to die for. The crust is crispy not over done, perfect amount of sauce with the right amount of cheese. Dinner their is a must and doesn’t matter what you get. I am a shrimp parm fan and every Friday I get my fix and word of advice get there early because they pack up quick so that in itself is a better example then i can write. What i love is that I couldn’t ask for a better restaurant serving up top notch Italian fare so close to home that it brings me back to the days of living in Yonkers. The owners are simply beautiful people who love seeing their customers happy and go out of their to accommodate and the staff are professional and always friendly. Go in enjoy a meal, a glass of wine and be prepared for big time Italian taste right here in Mahopac! Bön appetit amici mio!

Full disclosure here: I am a Brooklyn born pizza aficionado, and compare all pizza with Luigi’s on 5th Ave at 21st Street in Brooklyn. THAT is by far the best pizza in the world. This review is for the pizza. We didn’t go at a busy time and did not order dinner. Just pizza. It. .. was. .. awesome. As of the time of this post the place is only open for a couple of months. I’m hoping the first poster here experienced some opening pains, and that their experience was not the standard at Three Boys, because the pizza was second only to Luigi’s. Thin, New York crust not overloaded with cheese and sauce. Perfect balance. Stayed flat when folded(how you are supposed to eat pizza) with the end just slightly dipping, not flopping. Did not feel bloated when I finished. I had three plain slices. My girls tried the Buffalo and Grandma, both of which were excellent, but, IMHO, not«real» pizza. The girl that helped was great. Super friendly and took care of us despite us showing up 15 minutes before closing on a Sunday. We were taking a lazy route looking for less congested and expensive places to live than Long Island when we happened on this pizza gem and commented that we would add Mahopac to our list of potentials on the merits of the pizza alone. Schools? Taxes? Crime Rates? Who cares if you can’t get a good pie! And here, my friends, you will find one of the best.

I went into Three Boys from Italy Pizzeria tonight for dinner after I tried calling in my order 3 or 4 times and not being able to get through. We had a coupon for a large pie, wings, french fries, mozzarella sticks, garlic fries and 1 – 2 liter soda. They had no 2 liter soda bottles and we were told to take 220 oz. Bottles(that doesn’t add up to 2 liters) I went in and waited 2 or 3 minutes before anyone acknowledged I was standing there waiting to order. One of the managers(?) Finally asked if I had ordered and said no and then passed me on to one of the servers, okay. She takes my order and then never gives us a time about how long it will be for dinner. Okay, they were slightly busy I will admit but I can wait. As I was sitting waiting for my dinner there were children running around behind the counter. I sat and waited about 10 minutes before one of the serves said the food was almost ready… okay 10 minutes later we get our food, pay and leave, I pull back into the neighborhood and look in the bag and we’re missing the garlic knots and there are 3 mozzarella sticks, 3 wings(which weren’t cooked) and french fries thrown into a container. Honestly you couldn’t get me back there if you paid me to eat there. Which is unfortunate because the pizza was really good, better than the other local pizza places. It’s to bad I have to give any stars.

Hey Vinny — congrats on the new place!!! Hi all, make sure you try the latest eatery from Vinny Gaudio. My son and I went tonight on their first night and as usual with anything Vinny does, the food was great. This new spot should do well based on the great location, awesome food and super menu. Please go try this place and enjoy!
