Since I moved to Mahopac about a yr ago this was my favorite place to eat, but yesterday 2÷2÷16 I bought one of my favorite torta and after eating half of it, I found a hair. I couldn’t believe it! It was disgusting. I was disappointed it really ruined my appetite. Not going back. Unfortunately, there’s not a lot of restaurants varieties around this area. I rather go to McDonald’s

If you don’t mind the cockroaches running across the floor while waiting for your food then find one stuck to the take-out bag when you get home, then this is the place for you. Never got a chance to taste the food cause it went straight into the garbage. Will never step foot in this place again no matter how great the reviews are. Looks like I’m sticking to pizza and chinese in Mahopac.

Great food at a great price. I ordered two racks of ribs for New Years Eve and both were delicious. I had the Ceviche on a separate occasion and it was over the top. If you are in Mahopac, and in the mood for some great Mexican food, this is a place you should try.

The best, the only place to have a Mexican food in Mahopac. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you can’t go wrong here.

Finally found my taco spot. After two months moving to Danbury, Ct we, finally, have arrived. The carne asada preparada(prepared marinade steak/taqueria authentic mexican style) is the best out here… in the entire area. Trust me being from LA. I still think LA and San Diego got the best carne in the world. Born and raised. The real reason why no one has posted is because its too authentic which is a wonderful thing. Se habla espanol! Everyone is super nice. This place is a mercado(market) and a eating spot in one. Everything is legit… produce, mexican snacks, and etc. Place is clean and a mom and pop taqueria spot. Don’t expect to find anything else in Danbury. I have been to Pancho’s, el Coyote, and el Ranchero in Danbury and Laguna separates itself. My boy got the chicken tamales and I got the carne asada tacos. All I need in life is some good carne asada!!! **Sigh** enjoy! Get the home-style tortilla chips with the salsa«chimichurri»…Trust me!!! Bomb! Que te vaya bien!

I’m in sync with the other reviewers. Everything was perfectly prepared with care, delicate and delicious. Pleasant, cozy grocery store/taverna setting, authentico y simpatico, staff extremely friendly. you are eating in… a grocery store.

how there’s no reviews of this I do not know… it is now called Laguna Cocina, and it is a small store however in the back they make the best mexican food you can buy anywhere in the area! small seating area too, very nice clean place, they have a menu and daily hot buffet specials. The Burrito’s are amazing, Pork is so tender and delicious, the sauces are all homemade from scratch, the chorizo taco’s are incredible, the nacho’s are awesome… the staff is as friendly as can be too… awesome place.
