I was looking for a take-out pizza place to replace Nick and Nate’s since they closed. Frankie’s has a very nice atmosphere, very clean, white linen table cloths, and a very professional staff. Their pizza is a total disappointment. The crust was crispy and black on several spots, the sauce was bland and the toppings were either canned and not chopped to a uniform size. The Italian sausage also had an odd flavor. I may come back to try some of the more traditional Italian dishes but Domino’s, Little Caesar’s and Pizza Hut have better pizza.

This place is amazing! We come every time we are in town. Start with the garlic flatbread, meatballs/ricotta and clams oreganato. Next have some pizza and anyone of the pastas. My favorite is with Bolognese sauce. Delicious! Get there early though! By 6:30 the place is packed. Better yet, make reservations! The desserts are to die for. I don’t have a favorite. Well maybe the fried dough with different dipping sauces!

Well there’s nothing than being surprised by a very great Italian meal in Maggie Valley NC… this place was AMAZING! We were greeted with a warm welcome. Becky was our waitress and she was very very kind and on top of her game. Not sure who her helper was helping her with delivering and removing plates but she was great. They both Helped explain everything on the menu perfectly. We got the Chicken Romana Pescatore Fra Diavolo and they were both incredible! We were not expecting this to be such a good place but it’s a must if you are in the area! The owner name is Luis and was great at making us feel welcomed! We will be coming back everything we visit. Great job Frankie’s!
