This is clean and friendly, small movie theatre. Lots better than Rivergate, which is just down the street. Next to lots of restaurants for either before or after a movie.

For being such a small movie theater this place is great! It has very much improved since the previous review. First and foremost, it is clean, albeit a little run down(but that could be fixed if more people came here for movies instead of going to Opry) and the people who run it are really nice. They have a special deal with popcorn, where you pay for the bucket and then on return visits you bring back said bucket and get it refilled for a fraction of the cost of a large popcorn. Also, speaking of popcorn, this place has hands down the best popcorn(after the Belcourt) I have ever had at a chain movie theater! Not overly salted and the perfect amount of butter. I look forward to returning here next time I am in the neighborhood and they have a film I want to see showing here.

I’m not exactly sure how this cinema has been in business for so long. And it has been around for a long, long time. Wynnsong is off down Myatt Drive in the area where Madison meets Goodlettsville, and it’s within ten minutes of two or three larger, nicer theaters. Now I’m certainly not trying to insult the place. I’ve never experienced anything crazy like a projector catching fire or audio not working. They show all the typical blockbusters, though they only have about ten theaters. They’re all somewhat small, which I suppose can make for a more intimate viewing experience, but the sound isn’t great, and neither are the seats. If you live in Madison, East Nashville, Hendersonville or Goodlettsville and you can’t seem to find a show time that suits you at the Indian Lake, Rivergate or Opry Mills theaters, this one will certainly do in a pinch. That is, as long as you’re not trying to see anything obscure whatsoever and you don’t mind a teeny theater.
