We didn’t have any Sonics when I was growing up, but it does remind me of all the drive-ins I loved in my youth. But the sad fact is that fine automotive dining doesn’t hold the same charm for me that it once did. Sticky steering wheels, vagabond french fries, and renegade crumbs are not as acceptable as they once were. So, when I do eat in my car, I’m more likely to choose based on the amount of mess rather than what sounds the most delicious. Nevertheless, I wanted a quick breakfast, and Sonic was close to where I was running my errands, so I drove in. The breakfast burrito with tater tots sounded great as well as having a low potential for mess. I decided to forego the catsup and salsa, but still enjoyed my meal. The bottom line is that the food was inexpensive but tasty, and the service was fast and friendly.

½ star if I could pressed the button for service and didn’t get an answer after 5 minutes literally just pushed it again as I’m typing this and I’m making eye contact with inside employees. I will never come back to this ghetto neighborhood sonic.

If you want a cup of ice, then this is your spot. We made the happy hour stop on a hot day and we both ordered a soda. There was so much ice in each of the cups, I’d say we maybe had five sips each. I get that it’s half off happy hour pricing, but how much does soda really cost Sonic? And we were thirsty! Complete fail.
