One of my favorite wineries in Northeast Ohio! Definitely check this place :) 4 stars because of not the best food menu, but everything else is great!

Good winery for visiting Californians. We’ll pack home a couple(4) bottles to take home to remember our visit with family by.

Worst wines and service I have experienced in a long time. Will never go back. Waited in line to get some wine samples for 10 min. When area finally cleared up the girls behind the bar just ignored me and served a guest that just walked in. No apologizes nothing when I brought it to her attention. I ordered a sampler anyways and the wine was terrible. I should have just walked out as I planned earlier. Would have saved me $ 10.

Fun place! Nice to sit, eat some cheese and drink some wine. We would deathly come here again. Though it was not her favorite. We did like the fact that you could get an assortment of beers. We liked that!

We were a half hour late for our reservations due to weather and these fine people are CHAMPIONS. Such great treatment, atmosphere is wonderful and wine is wonderful! Try the Grand Dolina you won’t be disappointed.

I purchased a living social deal to attend the seafood and wine festival. In all honest the living social deal turned out not to be that great but the Vineyard itself was amazing. There were a few select food stands all offereing seafood related fare. My favorite was the calamari(yum)! I was also interested in the hot air ballon rides but due to wind they were out of commission. Tip: It doesn’t take much wind to ground the hot air balloons… check the forecast and call ahead. Wine: What’s a trip to a vineyard without wine? I tried a flight of the sweet selections(I love sweet wine). There was a high volume of people at the bar but the staff was quick and attentive. You get eight different wines to try plus for an extra dollar you can try their ice wine. If you like sweet wine I recommend the River Blanc… but honestly they are all good. As a bonus there was a live band outside covering currrent and past top 40 hits. There also was a DJ spinning line dances in between sets. If the vineyard wasn’t 50 minutes away I would probably spend every weekend the summer there. ****They offer live music frequently, check out the website.****

Still the best winery in the area. The Vidal Blanc and reserve Riesling are excellent. Always packed, live music, great place to hang out and enjoy some great wine.

Excellent winery. Excellent wines Excellent hangout, Excellent place to spend with a loved one Excellent scenery and we had an EXCELLENTTIME… You can’t go wrong with this elaborate-yet gorgeous winery. The wine tasting is really fun. The area of Geneva Ohio is so underrated when it comes to good wines – but it is the best hidden treasure you could possibly find. Go – There are so many wineries in the area – and so many chunks of hidden delights that your mind will be blown – or you’ll be hammered drunk from all the wine tastings you’ve done all day.

One thing I really enjoyed was how friendly the staff were. Great people working there. Also they have hot air balloon rides but be aware if the wind is at all blowing they will probably not be offering rides that day. I went for a wine tasting festival and they had a very entertaining cover band. If your a wine lover buy a bottle of the Vidal Blanc.

What a great place for a great selection of wine and their own brewery with a little bar that serves all of their own beer. Enjoyable

This is a fun and upbeat place with TONS of character. My wife and I enjoyed trying 8 wines and 10 beers for only $ 16. This is a place that anyone who is into wineries should definitely check out, a fun but classy establishment.

Really like this place. Its nice to have the choice of a brewery and winery together. Had the chicken pesto sandwich it was delicious! The employees all have always been very pleasant every time we have been there. Each visit to the area, we always come here.

What great ambiance! From the wine tasting to the beer tasting to the cask tasting this place had a wonderful setting. The wines were delicious and the staff helpful. The grounds were also equally as beautiful. I would absolutely visit again.

The catered event we attended at Debonné Vineyards left us a bit disappointed with the experience. This opinion has nothing to do with their wine(didn’t try any) but about how their administration booked two particular events to share the property at the same time that probably shouldn’t have. First off the positive. Parking was adequate although, with the two events scheduled at the same time, it pushed us out onto the grass and gravel area. Not a big deal if you’re attending a country concert but it is if your date is in heels.(Guess we could’ve driven past the entrance and had her tuck n’ roll instead!) Speaking of which the direction signs in the parking lot didn’t really make sense especially to a first-timer like me(didn’t know what the heck they were referring to — please, just tell me where to park!). Another positive, and why I added a 2nd star to this review, was because the catered food(prime rib, stuffed chicken) was decent and tasted good. However, the«fancy» plastic silverware was hokey.(I don’t care who’s responsibility it was to rent/buy silverware, plastic always downgrades the perception of the catering no matter how delicious and well-prepared it is.) The gripe is with how Debonné Vineyards scheduled a very, VERY loud reunion event(complete with live 5+ person band w/amplifiers, dance floor, and 150+ people) right next to our little event which had more of a solemn, ceremonial-like atmosphere. Our event was in their«banquet» hall which apparently has paper thin walls. The neighboring reunion event seemed like a lot of fun, occupied the majority of the grounds, and surrounded us on almost three sides with boozin’ and dancin’ partygoers. Separately held on different days, I’m sure everything would’ve been great. But it sucks when our participants really worked hard fundraising for over a year for this event and can’t even hear their keynote speakers. For crying out loud our lecturers had to literally yell into the mic to be heard over the blaring music outside. It’s totally not the fault of either event — I place the blame on the property’s events coordination for doing this. Again, held separately, I’m sure our experience would’ve been a lot more fun and memorable. But you can’t tell me that the events coordinator didn’t have the foresight to predict the noise and racket from one was potentially going to interfere with the other. Something should have been said or the events(scheduled far in advance) split onto separate days. Not cool.

I liked the opportunity to buy beer, wine sampler trays for $ 6 apiece. Had live dance music on the Friday night we were there — disco era cover tunes that would mostly appeal to baby boomers… and that’s who mostly seemed to be in attendance. Racially diverse crowd, which I was pleased to see. Biggest weakness — the food; poor value and non-adventurous selection and a bothersome system for getting it – order and pay first, then take a number and come back in 30 to 40 mins to wait for your number to be called. Cost $ 9.75 for a bland turkey and cheese panini plus bagged chips and a pickle. Outdoor counter server was a delightful young woman from Poland working there for the summer. Interior wine bar and cheese and crackers order staff decidedly less friendly, slow, no eye contact and attitude of, «We know we’ve already got plenty of customers, so you’re not very special.» Also, there’s a posted dress code in the indoor wine bar(basically no jeans or T shirts after 8 pm on weekends.) Not sure if they enforced it, but it kept me out of that area(self enforced) because I was wearing jeans and it was after 8 pm. Not a good place for kids unless they like to dance. Otherwise, nothing for them to do, though I’m sure you could bring cards, board games, puzzles to the casual Biergarten setting & it could work.

I went to Debonne as part of a winery tour during a visit at Geneva-on-the-Lake. It’s a very cute looking winery with a much different feel in it when you first walk in. Another reviewer describe it as a sports bar/winery and I get what they mean by that. There are some random TVs around the joint as well as some stuffed birds. A little weird. They run a winery and a brewery out of the building, so when you walk in it is a little confusing as to where you go for what. Once we figured out where we get the samples, I really enjoyed how easy it was to get a sampler platter filled with wines that satisfy your palate. I may be a bit of a child at heart, but I really appreciated the little goldfish crackers that came along to break up the flavors of the various wines a little better. When we went outside to see the grounds, there was a couple getting their wedding pictures taken. What a gorgeous backdrop! Overall, I’d go back. Not my favorite place ever, but I’d like to get some more of that Harmony wine. Yum!

Went for the beer at Cellar Rats, especially the POC(pride of Cleveland). Have known the wine for years, and well, it is not a first choice. The beer area is well, sad. Sure its new but as the brewery was an afterthought, so was this area too. But the beer is very good(poc, ipa, wheat, and stout sampled) and reasonably priced. All the help is quite nice. Weird thing is that they have a $ 20 min for credit/debit cards. WTF is up with that? Sure 4 beers for 2 people cover that but, still that is nuts. Website and directions suck. Turn on GPS to find this place.

Eric and I came here when we were staying at a bed and breakfast nearby. I thought some of their white and blush wines were fantastic and it was a really nice space… it had sort of a log-cabin type feel and the staff was really nice to us. We got a cheese plate which was your basic cheeses but was so generous that any complaints about the selection just flew out of our heads. Didn’t get to try the beer though which made me a little sad :(
