I don’t know if this is the proper place for this review or not. I recently had breakfast at 222 W. 11 Mile Rd. in Madison Heights. However, it said it was«now open» and was no longer called Bianca’s Coney Island. Instead, the sign out front said it was«Blueberry Hills House of Pancakes». Normally, I would just make the corrections in Unilocal and move on. The menu and all items inside said it is the«Originalle House of Pancakes». I don’t know what this place is called and I don’t know where to review this place so I guess here will do. The restaurant was clean. The walls were all white. The booths had a dark, bold print that looked very dated. All over the walls were prints that were faded by the sun and smaller pictures of all kinds of exotic animals like raccoons and horses. The menu was decently large. There were a lot of pancake options, crepes, blintzes and french toast. The menu also has several omelette and egg choices. I chose the Greek Omelette with gyro meat, onion, tomato and feta. It came with«american fries» which I would actually call hash browns since they weren’t cubed. Also you can choose pancakes or toast. I thought the omelette was good. It was very large and full of the greek items. I thought it had a lot of flavor. The hash browns seemed rubbery and stale, almost as though they had been reheated from earlier. The pancakes were cooked well but they were very«cakey». I thought they were a little too thick and didn’t have much flavor. The coffee was fine. Overall the breakfast was decent, but not the best ever. Our server was very nice and seemed to be the only person working there. She was prompt and fairly attentive. When not serving she was filling bags with jordan almonds, I presume for a wedding. The restaurant was very empty. The only other people there were a group of older women at a round table who seemed to be friendly with the waitress. I probably won’t return here as coney diners are about a-dime-a-dozen. Not the worst experience ever, but I think there is some room for improvement. Open for Breakfast and Lunch only. Credit cards are accepted for charges of $ 5 or more.
