Stopped by your business today at 6:40pm 4÷5÷15. terrible management. No fresh toppings available. empty strawberry, no mango left… etc. Not sure if it’s because Easter Sunday so the girl assumes it’s not gonna have much people today or what. The girl offers to cut some more and says it will just take a minute. It’s either she is lazy or the management doesn’t care. bathroom was dirty. Trash can was full with paper on the floor. 3 empty toilet paper rolls, one full roll sitting on top of the toilet tank. Apparently the employee didn’t bother to change the roll and place it in the holder. The hourly bathroom cleaning log was last checked on 3⁄29. Totally unacceptable and again poor management.

Best FROYO in Macon. Very clean. Good toppings selection. 12 flavors to choose from. White chocolate mousse was very good. We seem to always stop here after Bass Pro Shops.

I took my son to Peach Swirl for frozen yogurt a couple weeks ago. We’d never been there before so I went up to the counter told the kid behind the register that this was our first trip and asked how the process worked. My son wanted a small vanilla. The boy behind the register said, «Oh, its all one size and its self-serve.» It seemed a bit odd to me that it was all one size, but whatever. He also asked if I would like some too, and I said I hadn’t decided yet. He then came out from behind the counter, handed me a cup and asked me if I knew how to work the yogurt machine. That probably would have been insulting if he hadn’t been dead serious. I figured if it was all one size, I was going to get my money’s worth – even if my little boy wasn’t going to eat it all in one sitting. He could just stick whatever was left into the freezer when we got home. So I filled his cup up, he picked out his toppings and the kid at the counter proceeded to weigh it. Only then did he explain that they charged by the ounce. I looked around. There were no signs saying they charged by the ounce. There were no informative price signs anywhere. That’s why I asked the kid how the process worked in the first place. This is exactly the kind of information I needed. I told him that as politely as I could, and he said, «Well…uh…you said you might have some too. So now you got some.» The entire time the kid was talking to me he was doing what looked very suspiciously to me like a red-eyed pothead wobble, so you couldn’t really blame him for not knowing which way was up. And he was never rude. I assumed one size=one price. I ended up walking over to the trash can and throwing away half of the ice cream in the container before returning to the register and handing it to kid the weigh. No, that wasn’t the classiest thing in the world to do, but the alternative was paying $ 13 for frozen yogurt and that’s just not acceptable. If you can’t depend on your employees to explain the process to the newbies who will almost always ask, it would at least be helpful to have a sign somewhere that explains the pricing system. As far as the yogurt itself goes, its standard run-of-the-mill frozen yogurt. It has that grainy texture of the kind that comes out of the ice cream machine at buffet restaurants. It’s neither bad nor particularly remarkable. There didn’t appear to be any special flavors, just vanilla, chocolate and swirl. I think our experience would have been much better if, w hen I asked the employee how the process worked he would have said something along the lines of, «You choose a cup, select the flavors and amount of ice cream you want, add the toppings and then we weight it. It cost X amount per ounce.» How hard would that have been? I’m a man and as such I don’t have intuitive knowledge of frozen yogurt purchasing etiquette. I’m giving Peach Swirl two stars because I believe their employee did the very best he could under the circumstances. But the yogurt wasn’t impressive and the experience was awful. Next time I’ll spring for real ice cream.

My favorite place for froyo in Macon. They always have a lot of fruit flavored froyo which is my favorite. The watermelon and peach are delicious! Clean and nice atmosphere.
